I think they still the fry sauce at grocery stores. I know I've seen it somewhere...

Here's a GREAT fry sauce recipe:

1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons ketchup
3/4 teaspoon yellow prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

It's a ripoff of this:

I took my wife to Artic Circle for the first time in Utah last month on a work trip. Utah is still loaded with them. The one in Newberg was a staple of my childhood.
They have the best fries and sauce!

What I make at home:

Ketchup
Mayo
Pickle juice
Worcestershire
Old Bay

Eyeball the proportions to your liking.

I’ll replace the pickle juice with dill relish for a sandwich/burger spread.

I think there are two types of chain burger places, drive thru and sit in. Cant lump the two together, so ill rank them seperate

Drive thru

1. In N Out (double double)
2. Jack in the box (jumbo jack)
3. Carls Jr

Sit in

1. The Habit
2. Shake Shack
3. Smashburger

Looks good Love, LOVE Old Bay. Can you say shrimp boil?!!

How much hamburger is enough? Personally, I enjoy one larger patty. The triple-stackers, etc,. are just too much beef for my taste.

Agreed.

Though IMO it should be something more like
1. Carls Jr
2. Jack in the box (jumbo jack)

BTW, I'm not a big fan of buffalo-style chicken wings. Give me the dry-rubbed variety every time! I usually do those myself in a smoker. The best restaurant ones I've found are Outback's Kookaburra dry wings. Those with blue cheese dressing with a slight dip into my favorite bbq sauce are the bomb!

Do you like massive Arby's roast beef sandwiches with a little horsey sauce drizzled on?

K, that might be a bit different story.

The short answer is....

YES!!!!

every time I see someone dumping on in n out, I just assume it’s a bit. What’s not to like? It’s not too big, easy to eat, fresh ingredients relative to other fast food places, good bun, juicyyy.

Last 2 times we've tried in Oregon (about 6 months apart) it has been exceedingly greasy, didn't taste fresh at all, limited options and the wait was a joke.

If the food was actually better than other places I would understand it, but it's just not. I'll never be going again unless there are no other options.

I love me some Arbys, unfortunately the Arbys near me is in a sketchy location so I really never go.

Used to love the roast beef with lettuce and tomatoes and I am a fan of the Beef n' Chedder and Jamoca shakes.

I rarely go because its always crowded. I have 3 In'n'Out's within 5 miles of me too.

Back in the day that used to always be the Barstow pit stop on the way to Vegas. Cheeseburger animal style + Animal style fries. Gotta drizzle the Banana peppers juice on em too.

There was supposed to be a Shake Shack going in across the street from Powell's Books on Burnside. Can't believe they would be able to have that additional traffic in that spot though.

Shake shacks don't have a ton of traffic. At least here, no one really cares about it anymore.

Is that pizza joint still there?
