I hated it when I was homeschooled for a year, but probably because my parents are both tenured professors who piled on the assignments. What style of homeschooling are you doing? the way I did it was they hired individual teachers for each class, do you do a similar thing?

Since I just became home schooled recently, I had the chance to go to public schools my entire life and make a ton of friends. I feel bad for kids who have been home schooled most of their life, and never get that chance. I see my friends every day, I have a ton of free time, I get to sleep in. What more can I ask for?As for how it's done. I take classes online, and have a teacher come to my house two days per week.

I would never home school my child. It really isnt the part about the friends. Cause everyone thinks home schooled kids dont have friends. But being home schooled, you dont learn a damn thing about life. It's a lack of understand getting out on your own in the real world

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>As for how it's done. I take classes online, and have a teacher come to my house two days per week.</div>Oh. Yeah it was hell for me workwise, it was like what rich kids in the 1800s went through, I had individual tutors for every class, I was studying 10 hours per day. I had to take college classes alongside my tutoring classes and I was only 11 years old.The only bright side was that the college classes count towards AP high school credits even though I took them in middle school.

I wasn't really referring that to you, Tony. Some kids parents home school them forever, which is sad

I wish I were homeschooled, my favorite way to start the day is around 9:00 to some early cartoons, then shoot around, catch a show on G4 and get to working...thats what I do in the summer.

It wasn't me, it was two of my friends haha. I was the first person to call you, then I passed the phone around. I tried to change my voice up as much as possible.

Did you noticed my voice? I talk funny from ear problems as a infant...you notice?

basketball, I've been told by a former college coach that I had the skills to make it big. I was in 4th grade. I just need to lose some weight

That is 100% exactly what I do. I like it too. It does suck not being in school all day with your friends, and as a senior, it is tough to find a lot of time to hang out (people focusing more on jobs, colleges, their future), but we do as much as possible. But as far as the schooling goes, it's SO MUCH better than regular schooling. Two days a week with online courses, going at my own pace. Also, the 1-on-1 teaching helps me learn so much more efficiently. I love it.

On topic, as far as my future in sports, well, I'll always be a solid point guard.... in pick-up games.

I probably could have bowled for a college team but I just stopped liking bowling after last year. I had a trainer type guy helping me and everything. went to state and won some money in that but it just got boring to me.
