Your Personal 5 Most Disliked Trail Blazers of All Time

Zach Collins - At a Blazer event my son went up to him and asked for his autograph. He wasn't busy, but simply said ‘I’m not required to sign autographs at this event.’ and walked off.
Raymond Felton - Came in to camp out of shape. Sucked as a player.
Zach Randolph - Immature. If I remember correctly, left the team to deal with a death in the family, and then was spotted at a strip club in Portland. Well, I guess we all deal with stress differently...
Greg Oden - Spotted at a party in Corvallis when he should have been rehabbing. Played a pickup game at 24 Hour Fitness when he should have been rehabbing. Didn't travel with the team or even watch the games when he was rehabbing. Injuries suck. I got that. But I don't think he did everything he could to take care of his body or bond with the team.
LaMarcus Aldridge - Stated he wanted to be the best Blazer ever, then leaves the team hanging by signing with the Spurs. I also attended a meet and greet with Wheels, who said he was a huge Primadonna.

Raymond Felton - he sucked
Bonzi Wells - surly jerk
Jamal Crawford - brought none of his 6th man magic to the Blazers, didn't to want to be here
Detlef Shrempf - disliked him from his Sonic days, plus his "too cool for school" demeanor

Someone mentioned Trevor Ariza, he's my number five for giving up on the team in the bubble.
I give Crawford a little slack because he was a square peg shoved into a Brandon-Roy-shaped hole.

Raymond Felton. I didn’t like what we gave up to acquire him. He didn’t like being here. Got into it with fans. Was out of shape. What else?

GPII kinda shit on us on his way out so he’s on my list.

aside from that, it’s hard for me to think of players I didn’t like or root for for basketball reasons. I always found Aminu frustrating when he’d put the ball on the floor. I haven’t liked having shorter teams with CJ or Simons at the two or Powell or Hart at the three with other short players behind them. Those weren’t their fault, though.

I was frustrated that we didn’t get more out of Covington, Nance Jr. or, especially, Greg Oden. Never disliked them bet they left me wanting more.
On paper, Felton was a better fit next to Brandon than Andre Miller. Too bad that paper didn't include off-season conditioning.

GPII
Oden
Felton
Woods
Bayless

Honorable mention: Cheeks!

This is close to my list as well.
Never had a personal interaction with Zach - but I would agree on the other 4.

After that interview Ant just gave I'm kind of wondering when he gets on here?

Cause there are some guys we’ve had that I’m not seeing posted who REALLY should be on this list….and some on here who are actually really cool dudes.

From my vantage, I think you may be misreading the title. If it had said, 5 worst players in Blazer history, then you have a beef.

Personal dislikes? Hell, that could be because of shape of a players teeth. It appears you may like or dislike based on performance. I didn't read that into it at all. My fandom begins and ends with the person, not the player. I would personally rather have a player be a great human being who might not get us over the top, than I would get a championship based on adding a slimeball human. Just my way of fandom.

I give Crawford a little slack because he was a square peg shoved into a Brandon-Roy-shaped hole.
But he sure played better elsewhere, after his Portland stint. He was really mediocre here for whatever reason. He's a shooter, but couldn't hit the broadside in our uni. Then goes elsewhere and is clutch again. Musta been the water.

I dont get it - they have no right to be actual people, they have to basketball dudes at all moments? Take Zach Collins for instance, it must get really tiring signing autographs and taking selfies with people every friggin' day. No one said they owe us - or you - that. Similarly Oden, big deal he was playing pickup ball. No one can rehab 24/7. What ridiculous standards.

Do you mean you want to wring his neck or I want to wring yours?

Game 7 2000 look at box score, Sheed came so close to pulling it out.
That was an incredible playoff performance. He was the only Blazer to show up in the 4th qtr. of that game. Of course the lovable NBA refs did their fair share as well. But seeing the lumox Shaq due that stupid walk after dunking the ball to seal the game, is one of, if not the Worst, Blazer playoff moment i can remember. The only other bad one that is close, is Coach Rick Adelman removing all the starters, in game 1 of the '91 WCF vs. The Lakers, up double digits in the 4th qtr. , and the Lakers go on a run, and win the game and set the tone for a terrible WCF debacle. That team, IMO, had the best chance to win a title of any since '77. They had beaten the eventual champion Chicago Bulls in both meetings during the regular season, and dominated the league. No excuse for what happened in that WCF.

I grew up in North East Portland. I can guarantee you I would not pass the test for these guys.

You keep posting about other people’s lists so much. Where is your list?

I don't know Zach but I've talked to people who do. I'm wondering if this was misunderstood?
I wonder if he said "I'm not allowed to sign at this event". I know that happens. Maybe it happens that they aren't required so they don't also?
Just doesn't match any of the stories I've heard people tell me about Zach Collins. Also he doesn't seem to be a big enough star to get ambushed all the time so when it does happen I would think he would be willing?
I know you are very in tune with the team so this might be a valid take.

Everyone is entitled to a bad day, or moment. As long as it's not a regular occurrence , or a personal attack. I try to treat people the way i want to be treated. Most people respond well to that. Some people though are just dicks. Usually a person who has a bad moment will apologize immediately. A dick won't. Men or Women, makes no difference. It's what's in their soul.

I don’t see anyone mentioning this guy?

It was the open scrimmage at the beginning of the season. Many of the Blazers were interacting with the fans doing games and pictures in the concourse. When the players moved between the stations, kids were getting autographs. My son got a few autographs from other players that day. Zach was the only one that blew my son off.

Totally understand this perspective. The players have the right to treat the fans that pay their paycheck however they chose. I also have the right to feel how I chose about the players. I've met tons of Blazers over the years being a season ticket holder since 1974. Almost all of the interactions are very nice. These guys are great to open themselves up. Zach was probably having a bad day. Still leaves a bad impression.

LaRue? Why would you dislike him? He wasn't a bad guy. Just a bad player.
