I'm interested in the cap rosterbation that would have to occur to get Gasol while only giving up RoLo.

I never said only Rolo. Bgd said Gasol would be third string and I said Rolo would be gone in that scenario. Most likely it would be rolo, Wes, and a few bench guys.

Crabbe would take the starting SG spot?

To Memphis:

Nicolas Batum
Robin Lopez
Conditional first-round pick

To Portland:

Marc Gasol
Jordan Adams

You'd expect people non Portland fans to underrate Nic's value and impact. You'd think they'd look past the stats.

Sadly, it's not the case.

Rolo is a free agent as well. The gamble is high stakes but it could get us a title.

This.

Gasol is the same age as LMA and in his early prime.

You can make a nice long run with LMA/Gasol/Lillard/Matthews as the core.

Yup and I would just move crabbe into the starting lineup.

We have more of a shot to resign Rolo than Gasol. Rolo loves Portland, we don't know how Gasol will like it here. We've had bad luck with Spaniards

If we can figure out a way to bring back both Rolo and Kaman it would be perfect.

Easy. We own Rolo's Bird rights and have a team option on Kaman. If Olshey and Allen want them back, they'll both be back.

BNM

What about the season after that? Would we have bird rights on Kaman?

Early bird rights, which would allow us to re-sign him for up to 130% of the prior year contract, or $6.5M--still pretty reasonable for a guy who would be 34 at that point.

If Kaman stays healthy and keeps up with this kind of production, I think he opts out. He could be starting somewhere.

Kaman has started for losers all his career; he might want to win 6POY with a winner.

Yeah, considering his age and the physical demands on his body, I agree his current role, rolling off the bench as a primary scoring option, against mostly second stringers, and doing so on a contender, is a good career move at this stage.

It was one before but I think we can put Gasol in the pipedream basket.

I don't believe Kaman has an opt out. I think Blake does though.

We could probably get Wilson Chandler cheap.

John Henson should be on the radar.

He's criminally underused in MIL.

He's the same age as Lillard and is a guy who has a career DRtg of 101 -- when he got playing time he was a double-double machine with nearly 3 blocks/per.

His length is on par with RoLo: 7'5" wingspan - 9'4" standing reach.

You obviously start the package with the 2015 pick - Do you give up CJ?
