Sorry for barging in with this question, but why won't YouTube let me change my email address? My first account, had the email address I wanted. Then I decided to make and use another YT account so I came up with a new email, then I changed the email on my first account to another so I could use the first email on my second account. Right now there is no account using the first email address but when I tried to use it on my second account YouTube refuses to send me an email confirmation, no matter how many times I try. I checked everything, spam, ect. But got zip. I made another email address to see if it would work if I changed it and it did. It just doesn't work with the first email address I ever used. But it is nonexistent right now on YouTube, I even went as far as deleting my first YT account in an attempt to completely erase the history. But it will still not send me an email confirmation.

Sorry if that's a bit confusing, it's not that big of an issue, it's just that I would like to get notices when I get new subscribers, comments, video responses, ect.

Change your email to gmail. Log into youtube with your gmail account. End of problem!
