Zach Collins Dislocated Shoulder

For the record, I fully dislocated my shoulder playing football back in college. It went back in clean and was sore for about a month, no tears at all or any other damage. That was about 17-18 years ago and I haven't had a single issue with it since. I may have just gotten super lucky though.

Let’s pray this is the case.

Since Nurk and Gasol are also out plus with Whiteside questionable too, I find it strange that they haven't called up Moses Brown from the G-League yet. If it's serious with Zach you'd think they'd either do that or sign a big with the open roster spot. If we sign someone then I'll start to get worried, ha ha.

The really good thing is that it's his left shoulder, not his right one. I'm not going to pretend I'm a doctor but maybe the 2nd opinion is whether or not he can play with a high pain tolerance or if he risks further damaging it that way. Rebounding, defense, and jump shots would be painful but not nearly as bad as if it was his right shoulder.

For the record, I'm a Doctor. I didn't dislocate my shoulder but I did tear my labrum snowboarding about 15-16 years ago. Had surgery and it's stronger than before.

Ha, I got that one topped. During lunch time recess in the 8th grade we were playing basketball in the gym and I noticed when I dribbled with my left hand it didn't feel right and when I looked at my hand, the ring finger was bent 45 degrees at the top knuckle. The teacher on duty suggested I go to the office and have the nurse look at it and my teacher was in there at the time and took a look at it and said it appeared to be dislocated and just needed to be ;popped back in. I asked him if he could do it for me and declined for obvious reasons so I went outside and began pulling and pounding on it to no avail. When I got home from school my mom took me to the doctor and it turned out that I had torn the tendon in that finger and no amount of pulling and popping was going to put it back in place. Surprisingly it wasn't painful at all.
Mine hurt bad enough but when the other guy pulled on my finger I yelled out in pain. There might have been a discouraging word uttered.

One time a guy I worked with at Tektronix told me a story about how he was playing basketball with a bunch of guys with one of them being a medical doctor. The doctor went up for a stuff shot wearing his wedding ring and came down without his ring. Yep, finger and all was still up on the rim.
Being a doctor he got the other guys to retrieve the finger and wrap it with ice. He went to the emergency room and got it reattached with the tip grafted to his chest. After an unknown period they were able to separate the finger tip from his chest and he was good to go.
Moral of the story, get your M.D. diploma if you're going to play basketball with your ring on your finger.

Wtf is wrong with Gasol? We got him for this reason. Suit him up!

They've got to know what's going on. I think they are trying to figure out the best way to tell the fans that he's done.
I don't believe that you actually believe that. I think that's a blatant trolling post.

Be better.

I would wonder what his version of "done" means. I don't think telling the fans he's out 2-3 months would be all that heartbreaking, it would suck but we'd make it. Is he implying Zach's career is over? Cause that seems really, really unlikely, did Zach's heart dislocate with his shoulder...?

SO MANY EXPERTS

Yeh, but how many games did you miss? That's the important stuff.
