Those non fluff pieces really get to some people
It doesn't incorporate recent history, at all. Bad journalism, period.

Up until December 9th, Collins was getting garbage minutes. I'd call that recent. It doesn't incorporate recent history, at all. Bad journalism, period.

He has shown he can probably play, but in reality he has played steady in the last 9 games. He's shot over 50% in 2 of those games.
Yes, the last 2.You mean the the two most recent ones?
Yes, the last 2 most recent ga....
Ohhh okay I got ya. You are right. I understand what you mean by recent now. The most recent games WOULD be recently.

Most useless stat, go for it.You cherry pick shooting percentage, I'll cherry pick +/-: he's been very good.

I think he's played fine. Just showing how some reporter might be thinking.
They reporter was wrong on evaluating him as a player. You can tell which reporters pay attention and which don't.Most useless stat, go for it.

The ones that agree with fans pay attention and know what they are talking aboutThey reporter was wrong on evaluating him as a player. You can tell which reporters pay attention and which don't.

Is the stew done?
Fans tend to know more about their own teams than national writers, no? Because a lot fans (like me) have watched every single NBA (SL, pre-season, and regular season) game Zach Collins has played in (I watched over half his college games as well). But yeah, the dude on the East Coast who writes for Bleacher Report (lol) knows as much. The ones that agree with fans pay attention and know what they are talking about

What the fuck is a blazers? As a fan of other teams in other sports, I can safely say blazers fans are easily the most knowledgeable (relatively speaking of course) about their own team.
What's either sad, funny or both is that there was no stew intended originallyIs the stew done?
When did I say they no more? You guys are running with this shitFans tend to know more about their own teams than national writers, no? You implied that fans don't think writers pay attention unless they agree with them. You implied that such writers opinion is valid, and that fans are biased, yada yada. You've said stuff like this in the past. When did I say they no more? You guys are running with this shit
I think fans can be blindedYou implied that fans don't think writers pay attention unless they agree with them. You implied that such writers opinion is valid, and that fans are biased, yada yada. You've said stuff like this in the past.
Basically that fans think they know better than writers who disagree with them based on bias, not attentive observation.
I think fans can be blinded
What was it again? 103 minutes into his NBA career and his ceiling is a big with no weaknesses? Limitless?Oh the irony.

Thank you for the early morning chuckleDon’t even need 100 minutes to see a players ceiling. The pros usually only need three games.
Lmao, so you'll tend to side with the East Coast BR writer that has no respect for Portland Basketball and has caught one game?I think fans can be blinded
I wouldnt say limitless but I would say he has the potential to have 0 weaknesses. Can shoot 3s, post up, and face up. Can protect the rim as a 7 footer but can also slide his feet. Has shown flashes of being a very good passer and rebounder. Has great fundamentals and footwork. Seems to have a good mentality and confidence about him. What about him is likely to remain a weakness? What was it again? 103 minutes into his NBA career and his ceiling is a big with no weaknesses? Limitless?

Im not siding with anyone. My original statement was fans don't like non fluff pieces. Then stated he wasn't THAT off base assuminh he wrote the article a few games back. He hadn't really shown a lot.Lmao, so you'll tend to side with the East Coast BR writer that has no respect for Portland Basketball and has caught one game?
And this is funny conning from the dude blinded by skin color
