In 2005, Zimmerman, then 20, was arrested and charged with “resisting officer with violence” and “battery of law enforcement officer,” both which are third-degree felonies. The charge was reduced to “resisting officer without violence” and then waived when he entered an alcohol education program. Contemporaneous accounts indicate he shoved an officer who was questioning a friend for alleged underage drinking at an Orange County bar.
In August 2005, Zimmerman’s ex-fiancee, Veronica Zuazo, filed a civil motion for a restraining order alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman counterfiled for a restraining order against Zuazo. The competing claims were resolved with both restraining orders being granted.
In December 2006, Zimmerman was charged with speeding. The case was dismissed when the officer failed to show up in court.

Anyhow, Martin had a history of starting fights, too.

Martin had no criminal record.

Zimmerman has a history of violent actions and starting fights with the criminal record to prove it.

This was just revealed yesterday and may explain the unprovoked attack on zimmerman. Its the main witnesses words. Really dumb of her but just follows that pattern

Not since I was 12. Adults get angry, but do not engage in violence. Stunted child-minds in adult bodies, or people with chemical imbalances in the brain might...

its not the narrative. but its a plausible explanation of why Martin attacked Zimmerman initially. there is a lot of homophobia in the black culture. he feels that a gay guy is "cruising" him for some downlow action. in order for him to not "be gay" he has to beat his ass.

Zimmerman..."had a problem now".
 
martin was likely gay himself, and his repressed sexuality lead him to lash out in a self loathing rage
