Biden said, "Bin Laden's dead, GM is alive."
He's trying to make the case the economy and foreign policy are the administration's strengths.
People clearly disagree about the economy, but the Nobel Peace Prize guy got Bin Laden. Can't argue with that.
Then, as if by October Surprise, the spotlight is focused on Arab Spring, Middle Eastern nations fell like dominos to Islamist extremists (or so it may appear), and our embassies attacked in numerous countries on the anniversary of 9/11.
Houston, we have a problem. We're patting ourselves on the back about the Bin Laden thing, and the terrorists killed our ambassador right under our noses. In a country we bombed and forced regime change.
Those nutty Muslims have a history of violent reaction to improper depiction of the prophets. Blame some guy who made a YouTube video months ago. Misdirection from the incompetence.
The narrative must be, "Bin Laden's dead, GM is alive" or Biden looks more foolish than usual. Obama looks incompetent on foreign policy and the economy.
The narrative really is, "the Volt is dead, Solyndra's dead, your home has been foreclosed on, our ambassador's dead, the deficit has never been so big."
Ironically, the last time on of our ambassadors was killed while on duty was in 1979, when a different Nobel Prize winner also was a miserable president.
