11) People on here know more about hoops then HCP!

12. When Oden was in 10th grade, he dunked on God.
13. God didn't mind.

Glad you busted that myth. In reality, God was PISSED and demanded a foul, but didn't get the call. High school refereeing is a lot fairer and more competent than NBA refereeing.

14) We will find out that the person who attempted to club Brandon Roy in the knee in the RG parking lot after game 1 was actually MIXUM wearing a T-MAC jersey!

OK, 9.) Oden is a bust.
OK, look, he's a rookie coming off micro-surgery. He's also heavier than he's used to playing at. He has not been as quick footed and has therefore played a bit too much D with his hands, leading to fouls. Also, the refs have screwed him on many an occasion. In spite of all of this, Greg has put up a PER of over 18 and is a dominant rebounder. When he regains his athleticism and the team is more used to getting the ball to him in his spots, he will be a double-double guy easy. Put me down for 14-12-2 next year with better D.

If he does that, he should win Most Improved Player unanimously.

That the Blazer teams with Clyde, Terry, Jerome, Buck and Duck wouldn't have kicked the shit out of the Olajuwan era Rockets that were title teams. Timing is everything. They timed Jordans baseball career just right. We did not.

Glad to see you've turned from your atheistic ways, Minstrel. ;)

The Rockets were also lucky that the Sonics got upset in the first round both seasons. Those Sonics owned the Rockets and ultimately, when they met in the 96 playoffs, the Sonics killed the Rockets. I think it was a sweep.

Yes indeed you are correct. What do you want to bet that Nate talked about those series with his young crew?

I bet the series he talked about was Sonics/Nuggets. The Supes just looked right past Denver, and ended up getting embarrassed. It's a great lesson in staying focused and not giving your opponent any glimmer of hope.

As an aside, can you believe that the Nuggets starting center from that series is still playing for Houston?

all that it would take for him to achieve those numbers is for him to play at the exact same level he did this season but to stay on the court for 36 minutes per game.
