and puhlease get over yourself for gods sake mm, nobody gives a shit how persecuted you feel. especially when you do it on purpose.

go blazers!

For the record, I did not start this at all. I was in here posting great things about the Blazers.

the whole premise of this experiment is flawed

if a girl always walks up to me and grabs my dick, it would mean something completely different if a girl ive known for a long time came up and grabbed my dick once

Are you drunk? Because there's no way I can read this post in anything but a drunk voice.

PS I am drunk.

Hating on Wes by thinking he is a better 6th man? Hating on Roy because I think he is a poor defensive player? And hating on Crawford and Nate is what it is :D

Aldridge had 5 rebounds in 39 minutes

Yep, he did. And the Blazers still out rebounded the Nuggets 50-30. Even though Aldridge didn't get a lot of rebounds, he was doing a good job boxing his man out. Denver missed 52 shots, but only got 3 offensive rebounds! Denver's starting front court of Nene, Gallinari and Mozgov had ZERO offensive rebounds. That's a pretty amazing job of team defensive rebounding. You want to bag on Aldridge, go ahead. I prefer to look at the bigger picture.

I'd like to know the last time a McMillan led team scored over 100 three games in a row.

25 ppg before. I knew someone would talk shit about Aldridge. Go figure. Hey buddy why not just enjoy this win?

You construed MM's statement as talking shit? And I am sure there are many posters (like me) who enjoyed this win but also want to see the Blazers improve.

few points I noticed....

- you dont realize how bad Rudy is till he is on the other team. i was hoping he kept shooting

- Andre wanted that game bad!

- Andre also despises us right now. You can see it in his face.

- Batum needs to get his act together on offense

- Wallace isnt making it through this season healthy

Between March 12-19 last season against DAL, CLE, PHI. All wins.

We even had a 4 game streak last season: between Feb 5-13 against CLE, IND, CHI, TOR, DET. Again, all wins.

Care to explain why Wallace won't make it thru the season healthy?

This is the best part of the season so far. I was convinced that Nate would never, ever allow this kind of freedom to run -- I'm still worried that he'll tighten up the reins if and when we lose a few games, but so far this is just good entertaining basketball. And the wins aren't bad either.

I thought the biggest factor in our win was that Rudy was playing for them and not for us. He seemed just the same, missing open threes and getting his shot blocked going inside.

Camby's defensive play was another really big factor.

With all the new players and short training camp we really were fortunate to have our first three games at home. And now a little break to regroup; gotta like this team.

And about Roy; he really gave a great Christmas present to the team and fans by being gracious and intelligent enough to retire. There is so much more clarity and unity now as far as what we are doing on the court.

Hes on the floor way to much. I hope he does but the way he plays I just dont see that being possible.

Repped.

Or maybe there is no bigger picture, and the Denver "D" was just focused on containing LMA. Seems like a fairly sensible tactic!

If you check the quote I was responding to, you will see I was commenting on Aldridge's rebounding, not his scoring.

Yes, they were sending a guard to double down on him all night long, which is the major reason he had 6 assists (one shy of his career high). He did try to force his shot a couple times, but for the most part did a good job finding his open teammate when the double team came.

Wallace does spend a lot of the season diving for possession. He has only played 70+ games 4 out 10 years. So it's not that shocking of a statement if you look at it objectively

I liked our line-ups down the stretch. Camby in and out for Offense/defense worked well. Both Crawford and Felton played well down the stretch.

LMA just never seems to have any legs in the 4th. He needs to be able to hit those wide open 12-15 footers.

Yes, I'd like to see Nate limit his minutes more. He had some comments on the BlazersEdge recap about how he already is feeling fatigued. I'd rather see him more productive for the minutes he is on the court. Some players can play 40mpg just fine, I don't think he's one of them.

Personally, I think he's just out-of-shape. He had half of a training camp and very little practice the week he was there.

In the past he's never really complained about back-to-backs and the like. I tend to look at it as an anomaly b/c of the circumstances of this season (heart issue, short training camp, 2 preseason games, 3 in 4 nights, etc.)

Hopefully Nate will develop a little more trust in Craig Smith as the season wears on. If we can get ~15 mpg out of him, then Aldridge will likely have enough rest to finish strong on a regular basis.

Ya, I think LA still needs to get his legs under him. Although you could go with the NFL running back theory of running them into the ground by giving them too many carries. Like Larry Johnson for example

I think he'll be fine since we're keeping his minutes at a reasonable level.
