9 of these teams currently today under .500 some within a game or two of being at .500 If we are going to make a move 11-4 would be a good way to start in a stretch of games that can be won. Only six of these games are on the road. Need to make some strides during this part of the schedule. Another 8-7 month is not going to get the job done.

Of note - 10 games against conference rivals. Only one of those games is against a team that is not trying to claw their way into the play-offs. Records aside, all of those games could be tough contests against motivated teams.

Yep motivated is a key word these days in the league. Phily was in town at least one day if not more. Maybe they hung out in the strip clubs to long the days before because they sure did not show up against us. Maybe we should have all traveling teams to Portland have escorts to party on in the club scene.

I can see 5-6 losses. What they do this month may dictate what Olshey does before the trade deadline. .. if anything at all.

I see 10-5. It's odd that we play against SAC in their court twice. (I'm counting a win in the games with them).

Agreed except I think we lose one of the games in SAC.

Watch out! Next thing you know players across the NBA will be thinking Portland is a destination and asking to be traded here.

I start out every season looking at schedule and thinking about the possible outcomes. It changes somewhat during the season due to injuries and teams making trades but surprisingly as it may sound it usually comes out as a wash. This season i did not have the Blazers winning as many games as last. At the time i went over the schedule i had them at 44 wins (reduced that to 42 last minute).
The Month of January was listed as their most successful month at 9-6. That is giving them 7 wins at home and 2 on the road vs Sac. Thing is i have them losing the Houston game at home on the 2nd of a B2B and winning vs the Thunder but those games are a wash. I also have them losing at Utah and at Denver.
You never know in this league "That's why they play the games" rings true.

This is wrong. this has the 9th seed as Sacramento with 21 wins. Their record is 19-17

I don't think so. I think we win both. We will win tonight. If we lose to Denver will take it out on the Kings.
