every team in the nba would trade artest for wallace in a heart beat. Wallace is not just a fantasy stud, hes a good defender and a tough player. Does Artest help his team win? He has a bad attitude and when was the last time he made the playoffs?

Pierce is also a lot better than SJax offensively and defensively. Pierce is a better leader and Sjax comes with a lot of baggage also.

KG and Amare I know you will say KG is better but I stand by Amare. He is much younger and is such a good scorer and very clutch. KG showed a lot of signs of wear and tear last year and Amare is just getting started.

Does Wallace help his team win? Stupid argument.

Artest isn't tough? Come on now, you sound ridiculous.

I agree with you that Pierce is better than SJax in both facets of the game, there is no argument there. And what kind of baggage does SJAx carry? In these past two years, SJax has proven to be a capable leader and has been fairly consistent at doing what he does best, which is score.

In my opinion, KG and Amare, RIGHT NOW, are equal.

Not to disagree with you, but I want proof of when Amare has been clutch. I'm just curious, not disagreeing.

Guess you missed Artest in the playoffs with the Kings. Anyhow, SJax is better than Wallace and Wallace is strictly a fantasy stud.

First, PP is not better than SJax on defense. However, you again have the wrong comparison. PP is significantly worse on defense than Artest and since PP won't be your primary offensive weapon, his effectiveness is reduced here. PP doesn't do well as the second fiddle on offense.

KG and Amare I know you will say KG is better but I stand by Amare.

Obviously you know nothing about me.

Amare > KG

PP ~ Artest

SJax >>> Wallace

PP is not my sf hes my sg. if artest is your sg thats not good so I think I do have the right comparisons. SJax is really not that good. Last year was his first year over 20 pts a game but he only shot.405. He takes a lot of bricks, Monta Ellis should a gotten much more shots but Jackson just chucked up his bricks. Stephen Jackson's offensive game is one of the most overrated things in the NBA. He plays the same offensive game as Jamal Crawford 20 pts but 17-18 shots a game.

Where does he get this reputation for being a good defender? He plays on a team that doesn't play any defense. Jackson is a gambler but is a inconsistent defender. Hes a defender but nothing special.

PP is = to Artest thats just ridiculous. Did you see how Pierce played all season and how he defended Kobe in the biggest games? He also doesn't come with the headaches

Stephen Jackson is a top perimeter defender. He's a plus defender. Better than Pierce.

I don't feel that way about Jackson, where did Jackson get this reputation

That's funny because FSN doesn't televise any MAAC games, and Rider only had 5 televised games all of last year. 4 on ESPN2 (2 from the Disney tourney, one random game, and the championship game) and 1 on the MSG Channel (a local channel). So now I KNOW you are talking out of your ass. Thanks!

lol You sure man? Cuz I had some NY channel that showed Siena, St Peter's, & Rider last year. I had some sports package from Dish Network that gave me tons of local channels from these random places. I definitely saw all the ones he had on ESPN & ESPNU, then I saw conference tourney games.

That's MSG. They televised ONE Rider game last year.

I saw all three games of Rider in the preseason man, ESPN2 & ESPNU, bracketbuster weekend was the other game, then their conference championship, that's 5 right there bud.....MSG also showed both the 2 games b4 their conference tourney, here's a link. That's 7, count them 7, and then I saw them play Old Dominion on the FSN that showed CAA games. That's 8 games that I can say I watched.....what was that thing about someone talking out of their ass again?

I still highly doubt that you watched EVERY Rider game that was on TV.

I'm a college hoops nut dude, I love watching mid-majors and Rider was one of my favorites last year because they had the Thompson brothers, who are pretty cool to watch. I probably watched Rider and St. Mary's the most out of all the mid-majors last year. But if you don't want to believe me, more power to you I guess.

So you were watching the MAAC tournament instead of watching UNC/Duke and the Big East tournament games at the same time? And then you liked it so much you watched the MAAC semis instead of watching the Big 12 and SEC tourney the next night? You really are a nut!

I'm a Pac-10 homer, I don't really care for other big conference cuz mid-majors are more fun to watch. I see those teams all year round too with all the coverage ESPN has on them, so when I get a chance to watch smaller conference teams, I take advantage of it. If you want to call me a nut for appreciating the sport and being opened minded, it just shows you don't appreciate the sport as much as me....either that or you are just bitter I proved you wrong :p

It's ridiculous to question people with "how much have you watched __________" someone isn't it?

How's it ridiculous asking someone a question? Or wanting to know what their opinions are based off of? A forum is meant for discussion, and then of course you are going to find agreement or disagreement amongst it since everyone has different opinions. Sorry if you want to get offended by a simple question......

I think it's ridiculous to constantly think that because someone thinks higher of a player or lower than you to say "How much have you watched of ________?"

If they say they've seen him enough or a lot, what are you going to say? "Oh ok." or "I don't believe you because you think he's better than I do."?

It's just a generic way to start a discussion if you haven't noticed. Usually when someone uses that, they give their ideas why they asked it afterwards.

Not when it's asked in a tone that is questioning their credentials for evaluating said player.

I never meant for it to offend you, it's just something I use to start a discussion. Sorry that you misread it with a tone that I was attacking. Since this is the peer evaluation thread, we'll just say you are right so we don't take up 2 pages of this cuz you won't give up on this. Most the stuff I say is sarcastic and not meant to attack anyone, but apparently it's read as a different "tone" sometimes.

Did I just see Andray Blatche as someone's 2nd string Center?

Isn't that weird? He's been groomed by the Wizards the last two(?) season to develop into a SF. I would imagine he'd have some difficulty being an effective center.

After Etan Thomas went down he was basically the only backup center on the team. He doesn't play any small forward. Hes strictly a PF/C. Hes 6'11 and 250 lbs.

Alright my team is done. I'm taking cpaws advise and starting Joel over Collison. I took Davis in the 7th and Walker in the 11th even though I don't like either of them, they were best available at positions I needed (IMO). I'm not really worried about having them on my team because Davis can be a decent 6th man type of player and Walker can be a backup PF/SF that can jack up 2 or 3 threes a game. I'm glad Damon Jones was available in the 12th because I needed another shooter and somone who can play some PG and SG. What do you guys think?

C: Joel Przybilla / Nick Collison
PF: Chris Bosh / Sheldon Williams / Antoine Walker
SF: Richard Jefferson / Ricky Davis
SG: John Salmons / Thabo Sefolosha / Damon Jones
PG: Chauncey Billups / Travis Diener

I like the team and I feel it can have very good chemistry since all 5 starters are all team orientated players. R.J, Bosh and Billups make up a solid core. They each bring a different aspect to the game and each score in different ways. The bench has holes but it brings good energy. This team is solid.
