He has low bball IQ because he wastes his talent in a pool of moronic decisions on the court.
I've seen him play: he is a chucker with little to none defense and turnover prone, and he continually did the same shit. and i'm talking about post-Boston. I did not watch him play before he went to the Mavs.
My point in bringing up Walker is that not everyone on a winning team has a high bball IQ by the logic you are presenting in this thread. By this same logic, Garnett had low BBall IQ before he was traded to the Celtics.
Would you Jason Kidd has a low Bball IQ because he never got a ring? Deron Williams? Chris Paul? three well established point guards with no rings yet by again, this very same logic, they have little to none Bball IQ.</div>
Geez.
You didn't see him play as a Celtic. He's had a high basketball IQ all along. Like I said, he ate his way out of the league. It's been pointed out that as he put on the pounds, he shot more 3's. He wasn't a horrible 3pt shooter, either, just streaky. He was a good defender, too, when he wasn't so fat he'd be gasping for air. Think about it for a few seconds and get back to me: why on earth would you put the ball in the hands of your PF instead of a PG to handle the ball if your PF wasn't something special (IQ-wise and otherwise)?
Williams and Paul are likely to get a lot better. Kidd likely won't.
Back-to-back MVP Steve Nash was quite ordinary in his first few seasons. You think he had a great bball IQ then?
Adrian Griffin has a great IQ, just not the talent to back it up. Was good enough to start for Dallas, a contending team, tho.

Are you implying Nash's bball IQ is low because he didnt win a ring?
Your statement about Paul and Williams still didnt answer my question: Do you think they have LOW bball IQs?
And to add: lower than Walker's in 2006 when he got a ring?
