WR Dwayne Stanford! I had a little case of contact stress from posters who were worried that DS would flip to tOSU...

I think this is fantastic... a local kid not going to the SEC is always a good thing :)

a rivals poster was making a great point about taking a birdseye view combining this projected class with the last one.

QB (3): Mariota, Rodriguez, Lockie

RB (3): DAT, Byron Marshall, Carson

WR (7): Blackmon, Kelley, Sumler, Vaughn, Stanford, Addison, Allen

TE (4): Lyerla, French, Baylis, Brown.

OL (6): Fisher, Johnstone, Andre Y, Prater, Euscher, Long. Back from his mission for his freshman year, Hamani Stevens could also be added to this group

DT (3): Ebert, Bair, Balducci

DE (6): Armstead, Buckner, Carriger, Daniel, Kamp, Lake.

LB (6): Wallace, Hardrick, Garrick, Coleman, Cassell, Bafaro

S (3): Dumore, S.Amoako, Daniels

CB (2): Ifo, E.Amoako

not only are these last two classes among the best from a talent standpoint, but they seem very balanced as well.

Oshay Dunmore! The first kid who gave his verbal in this class :)

So far, did all these guys verbal to Oregon?

The only guys who've signed but hadn't verballed (publicly) were Addison and Allen. Everyone who STOMP is posting about are known quantities but still nice to make sure we got 'em officially.

Thanks. I haven't followed your recruiting all that closely, so for all I knew, one of those guys could have been another DAT, ha.

I know how that is... I was like that last year :)

Addison is the closest thing to a surprise. He (and his best buddy Allen) visited this past weekend and hadn't made any sort of public announcement.

I'd personally prefer Thomas Johnson to Addison, but it looks like TJ is gonna go to TA&M. And Addison sort of came out of nowhere the last couple of weeks, which is fantastic.

slammed at work today. Hope I'm not missing too much fun :sigh:

the new DAT type gamebreakers you'll have to concern yourself with are the 3 Redshirt freshman receivers. They're all speed burners which Oregon really hasn't had for a while, but one of them (Sumler) has posted even faster track times then De'Anthony

I meant big time surprises more than anything.

any of our guys flipped to other schools? UW seems to have a little momentum and I know they were trying hard at Balducci recently.

Well, it sounds like Cyler Miles may be wavering and considering USC. That'd put a damper on our momentum.

true but you guys just stole Pio from USC which helps your D-Line. You guys need much more help there, than at QB. Price is solid to say the least.

Well, Balducci was just on 750 this morning, and there didn't seem to be any doubt that he was still solid for Oregon.

thank you for this :) Balducci never said anything to put doubt in my mind. I just was witnessing the momentum of UW and knew they had been talking to him. #worriesgone

Everyone left is thought to be pretty safe bets from here on out. Addison was pretty huge for us... he claims to have made the decision at 4AM today
