But they're committed to Texas A&M and Oklahoma State respectively. You saying that they could change their minds at the last minute?
 


There has been a lot off buzz today about Arik Arnstead putting on a Duck hat and I'm hearing there is definitely legs to the rumor as well

It's a good possibility that we get Allen. Addison, I don't know, but like I said it is a good sign that Addison is here, and had to pay out of pocket to come here. 500 miles to fly here isn't cheap I don't think.

Airfare from SoCal to Medford is 400+ bones, and that's a single person.

If the family went there, that's a damn good sign.

So if we Arik, we get Shaq.

He said he really enjoyed his visit, and he has a lot to think about. JH asked what has sold him the most on Oregon and he said he likes the facilities, but winning sells itself.

It is kind of a bummer that Shaq and AA aren't a two packaged deal.. BUT.. I'd take AA over Shaq if we could have one of the two.
 
Although we could use more LBs, I mean the only new one coming in is Bret Bafaro, and Shaq would help IMMENSELY. Our front 3-4 is set and perfect.

And who thinks which one would be a True Freshman? Byron Marshall or Pharaoh Brown perhaps? Or Dwayne Stafford? Huff and DAT were True Freshman and they excelled well at Oregon.

He's just said it's not 100% that that is the case. It's still a possibility that I don't think anyone should rule out.

I agree.. and disagree.. We have such a solid LBing core with Clay, Lokombo, and Alonso. Our Defense is going to be SOLID next year. No True or RS freshman playing Corners. Probably one of the best defenses in Oregons recent history.

Nevermind, it's an official visit, but their parents had to pay their way out. Texas A&M felt he was just "taking a trip" and my guess is it's not just a trip if both their parents shelled out the cash to come here. Sorry for my misinterpreting what was said.

I have to agree with LikeLaMike, the linebacker corp is going to be, IMO, one of Oregon's all time bests. Losing Kaddu and Stuckey hurts, but Kiko Alonso and Anthony Wallace are more than talented enough to take over. Add in Boseko Lokombo and Michael Clay and we should have one of, if not the best defense in the Pac-12 next year.
 
Look, I want Shaq as much as anyone. But if he signs elsewhere we have someone who looks pretty darn good to me. Reggie Daniels!

If we get Shaq this guy becomes one of the top CBs in the PAC 12 by his JR yr. If we don't get Shaq, Reggie looks like he can play some serious safety to me...

Rough, especially when we have come out on the losing end of so many of these things in the past. But with or without him we are going to be fine.
