You do know he's (gasp) EUROPEAN, right?

He's a great man-to-man defender.
Oh wow how do you explain his 3pt % being 30% in 2010-2011 and 45% last year? That's a ridiculous difference.
Against what types of players? Not doubting you, just wondering. Does he guard small forwards or power forwards better?
I think the main reason I like Ilyasova so much is he's poor man's Kevin Love. Players that can produce without having to have their number called don't grow on tree's in the NBA.

Falk promises to drive a hard bargain.
"With the possible exception of (Brooklyn point guard) Deron Williams, I think that Jeff will probably be the No. 1 unrestricted free agent on the market," Falk said. "It's not like we have LeBron (James) and (Dwyane) Wade and all these guys floating around.
"I'd be very surprised if Deron Williams winds up anywhere besides Dallas or New Jersey (Brooklyn). So the next guy in the pecking order is Jeff Green.”
What about Jeff Green? Via RealGM:
If the Blazers address PG and C via the draft, POR could build around a core future lineup of:
Leonard(?)/Aldridge/Green/Batum/Lillard
Green is only 25 and has been checked out and 100% after his heart condition. Could be a nice piece to add to our roster, probably commanding around $8-10M a year.
Cool hopefully a team can use him and he makes a ton of money.
Patty Mills has reportedly decided to opt out of the final year of his contract.
''I feel like I need to do my due diligence and really go and see what there is to make sure I explore every option,'' Mills said. ''But in saying that, I really enjoy being in San Antonio and being part of that program. I definitely want it done soon and that is what I'm trying to do so that I can get it out of the way and go to London with a clear head with the Boomers.''
Mills averaged 10.3 points on 48.5 percent shooting in 16 regular season games with the Spurs.

Lou Williams is drawing “significant” interest around the NBA, with one source pegging Williams’ worth "in the Thaddeus Young range."
Young signed a five-year, $43 million deal last December.
"It's impossible to gauge [how much a team would be willing to pay] because there are so many teams who have money and Lou certainly is a good player," Sixers president Rod Thorn said. "The natural inclination is for teams who have money to spend some of it, of course. The last couple of years, there are a lot of teams that have gotten way under the salary cap and I'm sure that Lou will get some interest from teams."
Williams plans to opt out of the final $5.176 million of his deal.

Ramon Sessions will not exercise option to stay with Lakers
Point guard Ramon Sessions will not exercise a player option to stay with the Lakers and will become a free agent, The Times has learned.
Sessions would have earned $4.55 million next season but chose to test the market. There’s still a chance that Sessions will return to the Lakers by signing a contract, but there’s no guarantee of it.
“Ramon has carefully considered this decision,” said Sessions’ agent, Jared Karnes. “He had to make a career decision and ultimately decided to do what was best in providing stability and longevity for him in the NBA, and this could only be achieved through a multi-year contract.”...
Ramon Sessions is now a FA. I would not be mad at all if he was in a Blazers uniform next year.
He would be a great get
As our starter? For how much? He had Kobe, Bynum, and Gasol on his team and did not impress. What is he going to do with our lineup. Don't understand the love affair you guys have with him.
