This draft seems to have a lot of potential, but very few sure things.
Potential is a very dangerous word for talent evaluators and decision makers...

Looks like J.Cunningham should have stayed at Oregon State.
They dont have him being drafted.

You can build around LMA and Beal.
Get 'er done, Paul!
If we somehow get the 6th and take Beal, who do you take at 11th? BPA?
Beal has a nice looking release but I didn't see anything to suggest he can slash to the rim. If we want a jumpshooter we can get Terrance Ross at 11.

Pretty much.
Blazers need playmakers a hell of a lot more than they need shooting. A really good PG distributor makes the shooters on this team better.
Besides....he's little. No ty.
I'll take Lamb and one of either Lillard or Marshall.
Lillard's been growing on me recently.

Jay Bilas doesn't even have Beal in his top 10
I'm still hoping for someone interesting to fall to us at 6 or 7, and then take Lillard or Marshall at 11. I like both PGs for different reasons. Lillard is so efficient at scoring, and might have better skills than some think at passing. Marshall has a developing outside shot and that may be all he needs to go with his superior vision.
Chad Ford's new mock has PDX getting Drummond at 6 and Lamb at 11. Says Portland's scouts have been high on Lamb all year.
