When do they take measurements?

This will be important for Robinson.

Can he make up for his lack of height with a 9'0" reach like Faried?

Main reason I don't do it is I think there's a chance you can get a better player at 6

I like Ibaka, but I think the Blazers have bigger needs (playmaking guards).

I'm not sure Ibaka compliments Aldridge that well either. Both like that 15ft jumper.

.

IMO he is a perfect complement to Aldridge -- rebounds and an elite weak-side shotblocker.

He's a young Theo Ratliff with a jumper. Definitely worth both picks.

Defensively no doubt. Man defense though....

I think Drummond could provide that same defense and rebounding, and the guy is just huge and takes up a lot of space.

My personal opinion is that Drummond has a chance to be special, and while I like Ibaka, he has a chance to be really solid. I think if it presents itself, Drummond would be my guy.....I think he will be long gone by then though.

Drummond has the chance to be better -- his quickness and his Oden-like size is rare. But will he ever 'get it'?

Anyone like or hate the idea of #6 and #11 for Ibaka and Maynor?

No. I would rather take a chance on getting a higher level player--even though I may lose. Ibaka and Maynor to me are both middling players. I'm hoping one of the picks we have will get us someone better than either of them.

As of right now the only thing stopping him from being there at 6 is Cleveland imo

That said, prospects like Drummond just don't ever fall very far. There's so much upside there.

You're undervaluing Ibaka.

Age: 22
PER: 19
DRtg: 98
BLK%: 9.8
BPG: 3.7

Playoffs:
PER: 21.3
DRtg: 103
BLK%: 9.6
BPG: 3.3

Middling he is not.

I've been advocating on this board for Drummond since we traded for the Nets' pick.

From the start of the season, when we weren't sure whether or not we'd even have a lotto pick, I was hoping for Drummond. I like some of the other talent in the draft, but Drummond is my pick at No. 6, assuming he's still there.

Make it happen, Olshey!

No. I wanted Drummond first!!!

Rusty Simmons: Two things overheard in the NBA pre-draft combine lobby that might interest Warriors fans: 1. Chicago is not expected to pick up the $3.7 million option on point guard C.J. Watson

He would be a decent pick up for depth

If TRob is gonna fall to us, it would be a blessing. Foolish teams ahead of us.

I agree, it sure appears that at this early date POR may have a chance to choose either Robinson and Drummond....

I just wonder, why would SAC take Robinson if they already have Cousins? Wouldn't it make more sense to take Drummond and move\keep Cousins at PF?

His leg being one-inch shorter than the other has cooled my opinion on him.
