I say don't fuck with it and just take the BPA at 6 and the BPA at 11 and call it a day. I think we're in a very good position to get two very good players.

I think Portland should identify who they think are the best players and go out and make sure they get them. In a draft like this teams are going to value the top 6 players very differently. If you think a guy in the top 6 is a franchise guy (besides Davis) then you make sure you get them. Don't let others dictate who you are going to draft. I hope the front office is very proactive in getting what they want. What good is it to have an owner like PA if you don't use it to get what you want.

I think you have to trade up to get the best possible talent.

Studying the draft class of next year and the top 50 HS talent (Scout.com) the PF/C crop is scary weak. So I've revised what I think the Blazers should do on draft night:

TRADE UP FOR THOMAS ROBINSON!

Outside LaMarcus the frontcourt is as thin as it has been in years.

I really like TRob. We have needed an inside threat badly since ZBO. Even still, I would love to keep one of our lotto picks and grab one of the guards..... whether it's Lillard, Waiters, Lamb, Ross, etc.
 
To get that #2 pick I don't think that's possible. There is no incentive for the Bobcats to trade that high of a pick unless you overpay a little.

Love this. I'v been high on Robinson all year but this combine made me want to him in a Blazers uniform pretty badly. Think Griffins explosiveness with an actual ability to guard someone.

And Robinson has a better back to the basket game then Griffin. He won't make all the highlight dunks but he is going to be very very good.
 
What are the chances that New Orleans shocks the world and takes Robinson #1 overall?

Robinson & Aldridge would make an intimidating front line for years to come.

This kind of stuff always fascinates me. How does Robinson measure the same height as Sullinger with a 2" longer wingspan, but a 1" shorter standing reach?

Thomas Robinson only measured in at 6' 7.75" w/o shoes, but has a huge wingspan at 7' 3.25" and monster hands (9.75 x 10.5).
