Obviously.

I'll bet he meant Batum

I still like Lamb, his size, athleticism and scoring ability...obviously getting to talk with them and meet them in person and see what type of person\competitor they are is an important aspect...

The kid can play, is he dumb as a rock? or just indifferent? both? niether? I certainly wouldn't categorize that interview as a positive for him, but I wouldn't rule him out either....

There have been PLENTY of great NBA players who were not the sharpest tools in the shed....The bottom line is talent and IQ ON the court....

Apparently no one remembers Travis Outlaw?

All this after telling us how we desperately need guys with a killer instinct and assassin mentality?

There's a few folks on this board who have said in the past they'd take Lamb over Beal.

A few. You made it sound like everyone.

I'd say more people on this board have had Beal in the top-5 for some time, while Lamb has never been THAT high. It's semantics. But anyone who picked on you for having Beal over Lamb (because they had Lamb over Beal) would be in the minority (like 1%).

Therefore, they should be executed.

Travis Outlaw is exactly (one of) the reason(s) why I would avoid Lamb. I'd like to have someone who can understand what the play actually is. At least Outlaw seemed to care about what he was doing, even if he did it poorly for the first 3 quarters.

I'd be very happy with a Thomas Robinson\Austin Rivers draft.....

Sullinger........ some guys love him so much they say he's the next Kevin Love........... some say Big Baby Davis.

One leg too short and back problems? Pass.

"whatever man, ill like score a few points and stuff, chillax bro, tell whats his name to pass it to me like a blunt, im crazy open over here"

"umm, you are standing 5 feet out of bounds"

"shiiiit, yo light skin! hahaha im so high...wait...oh yeah pass me the ball!"

I didn't mean to 'sound' that way.

sullinger is gonna be a steal but might be a flash in the pan

lol, hey I would prefer that...I didn't say he was my 1st choice, I said I would not rule him out.....Batum doesn't seem to have that mentality but he is still a talented player....and being aloof, that was the word I was looking for in that post off the court doesn't necessarily mean that he is that way on the court...it doesn't help though...

You look at Lamb and cmpare it to Perry Jones who also has some similar "motor" issues and he came out and was aggressive from the start and said a lot of the things you want to hear....

That is why I just posted I would be very happy with a Robinson\Rivers draft....and if Robinson wasn't there, I would consider Perry Jones...based more on upside though...

Sullinger will start out strong in the NBA. We're all going to be mad we didn't take him. Then, he'll fade into obscurity and become an average forward.

I knew I should have prefaced that post by sayin in off court attitude\aloofness...NOT in terms of on court IQ, I think Lamb is a much smarter player than Outlaw was\is....Outlaw still can't remember what\where he is supposed to be on the court...I think Lamb does....He just may not know the names of the guys on his team...lol

Gotcha. I'd definitely agree with you there. I'm also grateful our choices aren't Lamb v. Outlaw but Lamb v. a bunch of other players.

I think Lamb has talent for sure and knows how to play, but I don't think I've ever seen a guy like that as the proverbial "tip of the spear" on a winning team ... I mean can you envision him taking any kind of active leadership role on a team?
