We shouldn't need a QB. We have Lockie and J-Rod already. We should focus on the O-line a little.

We also had Bennett Already. Who had same eligibility as Mariota. These dudes are only a year behind with their Eligibility. Highly unlikely Both of them stay around their whole College Career. so know we dont "NEED" a QB, but it would be pretty prudent IMO to have some seasoned (and still enrolled) QB's when Mariota is done here. I know we have lucked out having Young QB's be ready to take over the last couple times (Thomas and Mariota) but I wouldnt say thats the norm.

Cunningham had his offer pulled. Still think we get left out and he's going to Vandy
Folston rumored to open it up again... not for Oregon but to go to Auburn.

We pulled Cunningham's offer, or he decided not to come to Oregon?

Folston's an idiot. I'd stay with Notre Dame.

What does it mean to "pull" an offer? Cunningham a lock to go there then?

Actually BB was a Soph last year eligibility wise while MM was a Freshman. I know how some posters enjoy worrying, so here's something for next year. Because Marcus will be 3 years removed from HS, he will be eligible to declare for the draft following next season. If he has a year like this one again I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him declare. Judging from how many QBs they've brought in, it sure seems like the staff sees a 4th QB as a need for this class. I'm guessing Utah St. will have to find someone else...sorry Zalsa

Noted. I forgot Bennett played the year before. Actually started in Colorado

basically there is no longer room for him to have a full ride to play football

Texas offering dontre as full time back role, as opposed to OSU harvin role or Oregon DAT role. Which is one reason why they are getting this visit.

Robinson twins cancel on tOSU this weekend and will go to UW instead.

Why go all the way across the country when you're going to just end up at Oregon?

May as well check out Seattle and keep in the same time zone.

Hobbs officially a duck

in a recent interview he claimed to have grown another inch and currently 6'3 & 233 lbs

I like his running ability, but I'd like to see some more passing video of him. The few throws he had in that video were a bit inconsistent. A few nice balls, and a very nice TD pass running to his left, but just a lot of read-option.

Who is #6 for that team, by the way? Guy has wheels and some decent size.

Nooooooo I wanted him at Utah State ;~;

your "we us our" Ducks privileges are hereby suspended :ghoti: big boy running the spread attack

edit... looks like I messed up on the current weight I relayed for Hobbs, it's 223 not 233

He's a bruiser of a runner like Tebow or Wilson. Not bad.

Well, U state does have this one guy from Oregon coming at QB, 6'4 200+. I think they'll be fine.

Tosh is a crafty recruiter as we've seen, so don't count UW out.

That said, Oregon is the program in the Pac-12 and we are only getting better. If the Robinson twins are smart they'll get on board, otherwise.... have a good time in the tomato bowl for the next three years with the FUSKIES....

I would say the same thing to all the USC recruits as well! Lamo is and will be for one more year the sacrificial lamb to a program waiting to come out of probation. Once next year is done, expect USC to hire a REAL coach and then be back to being the force they once were, but it will take a little time. New coach, new philosophy and such....

That said for all those recruits from Hutchings to Cravens to Bigelow and on... USC will not win anything next year cause the team doesn't believe in their coach!!! It'll be two years to fix that mess once Lamo in canned at least. That makes all those kids in this recruiting class Jr.'s and ready for the pros by the time the men of Troy can find their swords again right?

Come to Oregon and play for a national championship now! IT's really that simple... We've got the offense, the QB, the running backs, the tempo on and on....

Here's how I see the Pac........

USC is a boat on fire and everyone knows it!!!!! UW doesn't have a QB, UCLA doesn't have heart, UTAH, Colorado, WSU, AZ and ASU are years away, OSU is happy being our little brother and Cal is on a complete rebuild. That leaves Stanford and the O!!!!

Most can't get into Stanford and the Ducks really are the better football team with better facilities!! Have I missed anything?

GO DUCKS!!!!

Helfirch seems like an aggressive recruiter.

I like him. Will he start recruiting for next year?

Dontre Wilsons HS Coach told Ohio State board mods he is going to go to Ohio State.

RB Benoit commits to Oregon. Either completing class or substitution for a decommitting Dontre.
