Nolan Smith era officially over. He's out at some mall somewhere hiding his jerseys and posting it on twitter. :MARIS61:

Bjennings to DET. Wow.

PG: Brandon Jennings
SG: Brandon Knight? or Caldwell-Pope, or Stuckey
SF: Josh Smith
PF: Greg Monroe
C: Andre Drummond

Is that a playoff team in the east? Mo Cheeks seems like a horrible pick to coach this group, but I guess we'll see.

Don't forget about Singler, Jerebko, and Kravtsov as their backup front-line. All those guys have promise. They could definitely be pretty decent.

Pizza Guy says Knight is going to Milwaukee.

I think Detroit did great. Jennings for 8 million a year is good. Billups will be there to mentor him too.

I applaud Detroit for grabbing smith and Jennings for basically nothing.

Detroit was aggressive this off season and picked up some key players. (They also got Billups).

Detroit fans have to be excited about that team compared to where they were last year

I hope Joe Dumars realizes that the teams play with just one ball.

Talk about ensuing chuckfests. Horrible move for DET in my mind.

Detroit will be better than they were, but still mired in mediocrity. Acquiring Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings AND Mo Cheeks? Meh, meh and meh. Their most exciting move was hiring Sheed as an assistant coach. But they had to do something: they had the worst attendance in the league. They better hope Drummond can stay healthy.

who's a chucker besides Jennings? I mean josh smith cant shoot but I don't know if would consider him a chucker

Stuckey for sure, and Smoove shoots from the outside way too much.

And at a horrible % too. I don't understand why he thinks he can make them? Hasn't someone given him a memo on how terrible he is 15ft and further? It's like 20%

Well Detriot sure knows how to make a splash, not sure if this is a good one on their part. They east is so weak that they could make the playoffs this year.

Soooo will oj mayo average 30ppg next year on the bucks?

30 shots per game, maybe. But that's okay, they've got the front line to rebound his misses.

We might actually get to see that Greek teenager whose name nobody can pronounce. Or spell.

What's with Detroit, Milwaukee and Dallas just shuffling players?

The East was very weak that year but still, a heck of a testament to Lebrons greatness. Jordan never had teammates so bad even on Washington.

Whether or not they can make the playoffs depends on how well they can run the three-man weave.

I don't know if it's a playoff team, but they should lead the league in, maybe even set a new record for, offensive rebounding. Three great rebounders (Drummond, Monroe and Smith) and three guys who will miss a shitload of shots (Jennings, Stuckey and Smith).

BNM

Who did Jennings play with in MIL that could score? Ohhh that's right he needed to shoot the ball (he and Monta). Jennings (reffed him too) can be a pass 1st guy and I think it's a GREAT move as he is WAY better than Knight.

What I don't agree with is JSmith at SF. He cannot stretch the floor and that will be one of DET's main problems: Outside shooting.
