After getting Robinson, I think the biggest holes left are a starting caliber center (not easy to find\acquire), a vet b\u PG (at\close to the vet minimum) and a veteran SF to b\u Batum and push\replace Claver....

A guy like Barnes (mentioned above) would not be a bad move at all, decent defender as well....a shooter like Korver...I like Budinger, and I am not sure MIN can afford both him and Pekovic, Landry perhaps? I think he could play alongside Robinson, Gerald Henderson is intriguing, Aminu has underwhelmed but is really young (22)....Brewer, Dunleavy or Webster could be other less interesting options IMO....

There is zero chance Olshey uses any more cap space on a back-up PF. Landry is not coming to Portland.

The Blazers, who now have roughly $9 million in salary cap space and another $2.6 million via a "room exception," are still expected to be players on the free agent market

Asik is the guy I want. Guy is tough as nails. Has that Przybilla quality to him, but can actually finish on the offensive end.

Get. It. Done.

So 9pm Pacific time shits gonna start hittin the fan, right?

I am confused on why HOU is going to move Jeremy Lin. He wasn't great this last year but if they move Asik they will have more then enough salary cap room for Howard (they actually have enough right now - barely).

So why move your PG when you just have to go find another?

Pelicans will have a face to face with Tyreke Evans tonight after free agency commences at 12:01 AM ET, ESPN has learned

Highly doubt the Knicks are looking to move their only real center anyways

Chandler is a great defender but he is getting up there in age and makes quite a bit. I would have loved him 3 years ago. Now? Lukewarm on the idea, he could be hurt a lot.

Chandler was a Jr. when Aldridge was Fr.

Maybe because alongside Harden, they can go with a "steve blake" type of PG over a PnR PG, and for a lot cheaper. I dunno though

My source is a former writer for Hoopsworld. Not to sure how connected he still is, but

it sounds like Freeland is the hang up, and that the Blazers are working the phones hard for a Center with Wes and Leonard as the crux of the deal. They want to include Freeland (obviously) so they can recoup the space the had to eat with T-Rob.

Who knows how true it is

Wes/Leonard for Asik works under the cap.

So does a straight up Wes/Asik swap.

Agree 110%. And that's not even mathematically possible. Wesley is already our only backcourt defender, so you damn well better replace his defense.

Wesley's defense has been a little overrated lately. Of course a lot of that has to do with his injuries.

About an hour away from shit going ballz to tha mothafuggin wallz!
