My question is will Robinson turn out to be another Craig Smith? Decent player but can't stick with a team.

It seems like we have the best assets to get him, if they really are doing it for cap space. Other than a 1st round draft pick next year what is better than three #2's or an international player?
They don't want a player right now.

I've never seen Oladipo play. But SEVERAL people who have say he's a cross between Dwyane Wade and Michael Jordan. Google Oladipo Michael Jordan. Read all the articles and columns.

Thats how scouts label high school/college players though. Its not "Khawni Leonard looks like a bigger version of bruce bowen" its "Khawni Leonard looks like a mix between Scotty Pippen and Grant hill". They always take hall of famer type players and compare a player to them making for unrealistic expectations.

Yeah - I wouldn't touch him. It's funny, they say that rebounding is one thing that transfers, but he and Beasley are proving otherwise.

(Maybe it's a Kansas thing: after all, he was playing behind the Morris twins, and it's not like they've been much cop in the league.)

This bothers me: it looks like they're trying to hold on to Asik AND get Howard. That ain't right!

I still believe in TRob, hes gotta find the right fit though and hes gotta develop a mid-range game. Guy could be very good on the pick and roll if he added that mid-range J. Hes very mobile and athletic, but he gets roofed when flat footed under the rim. When you get him the ball as hes rolling toward the rim he can finish well. Sort of like David Lee.

I would love to get Asik from Houston, but I think Houston realizes the value they have in Asik. A talented center on a decent contract (probably underpaid).

They will keep him even if they get Howard, IMO.

Until the third year, when he's paid $15M. At the same time they're paying Howard and Harden comparable sums. And Parsons will be feeling VERY butthurt.

keep in mind that while his salary is 15 mil the third yr the capspace hit is the same each yr of his contract - I believe around 8.2 mil

If Cousins could be had at a reasonable price, fine, but he reminds me too much of Derick Coleman.

10 million dollar talent, 10 cent head.

It would interesting know what the perception of Kostas Papanikolaou is around the league.
Because I would rather use him in any treade then #10. Simply because I would rather gamble on a SG in this draft then a international SF.

I bet Sac Town can get a lot for Cousins. Cleveland (#1) or Charlotte (#4)??

I'm pretty sure Cousins could be had for Batum. I'm pretty sure it would be a huge gamble, too.

Sources close to the process told ESPN.com that the Rockets have received what has been described as "hopeful signals" that Howard is seriously considering a jump from the Lakers to the Rockets after becoming a free agent July 1.

Although the Rockets are well aware that Howard has a penchant for changing his mind, sources say that Howard has conveyed his rising interest to Houston star swingman James Harden, his forrmer teammate with USA Basketball.

Sources say Howard, furthermore, has already made it clear he'll field in-person recruiting visits from the Rockets and Dallas Mavericks once free agency begins. It's possible, sources said, that other teams will be added to the list.

Getting rid of Cousins is a combination salary and head-case dump. It wouldn't surprise me if Cousins could be had for less than Batum, just for taking on his salary. I'm not sure what else we have that they'd want, but I hope to god Olshey makes that phone call. We have a whole lot of picks to throw at them. As a total rebuild, they might find some gold there.

Well that is kind like what happened to Gronkoswki of the Patriots. You can't have major surgery close together and Gronk has to wait 4 weeks sounds like GAllinari will have to wait a month and a half between operations.
