I really would love to hear we agree to get asik from Houston; but that would have to wait until weds. Howard won't make his decision until he meets with the lakers on Tuesday.

Chris Haynes said something about Asik and Hickson having the same agent, hinting that a sign and trade of JJ for Asik might be a possibility. Not sure it this has been posted.

We can't wait for that indecisive fool to make a decision. Give him 48 hours. If he isn't a Rocket by then, give up on Asik and get Lopez.
 
Not sure what we could offer for Lopez....realistically. Aside from pure cap space, the Blazers have already traded most of their non-cap hit assets for Robinson. I'm sure other teams can offer more.

send them rights to Withey, he probably would be perfect for them as a backup C and no cost, he's 39 pick - I do it in a heartbeat

I'm hesitant to part with any of our real assets.

Would probably take Leonard.

Not sure how much they need to S/T for Evans, but Meyers for Lopez would save them about ~3 million in cap.

Quick question for you guys. How much do you think Jeff Teague will be paid? Evans is getting 12 million a year. Honestly, if I'm paying that much for a guard, I'd rather get Teague. Averaged 15/7 last year in 33 minutes. Great young point guard.

I'm thinking he can get $9-10 million. Probably goes back to Atlanta though.
 
Nothing in FA will get done until Dwight Howard will decide where he wants to play, which knowing him could take 5 off-seasons

That is absolutely ridiculous. How is it possible that he couldn't get any more than that? Our does he just love playing for Brooklyn that much?

I don't think this is right. I looked at the CBA FAQ, and the only S&T restriction seems to involve tax paying teams.
 
Why does anyone think we need to give up anything but cap space for Lopez? It's NO that's in a tough spot. Even if he were sought after by teams, maybe they could get a 1st round pick in the 20s. But needing to dump him? I say we demand a couple of 2nds back along with Sideshow Bob.
