missing on recruits is part of the game. I think rather than look for Diamonds in the rough this year, I'd rather roll the scholarship over to next years loaded class

Woot! Welcome on board Charles! Another big time track guy as well

It's a good pick-up. Undersized, but had offers from Notre Dame/USC/TheU/Wisconsin/Michigan State, among others. A true speed guy. Hopefully he picks up things faster than Tacoi Sumler.

Nice to pick him up, but I'm afraid of losing tony James now, since the Gators are going after him hard.

Xmas!!! Is the Levi kid friends with Lousi? If so you've got to like our odds with him on an official visit this weekend. This kid is a power keg!

As for James, I think he's a solid Duck, what worries me is I hear Springs reached out to USC for his visit! hmmmmmm.....

it's a foregone conclusion that UO missed on Trey huh? Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I just don't get the feeling that ship has sailed. His comments seem to be jerking followers chains a bit building up the drama for the big signing day surprise. He's said he'll base his final decision on two things, football & education. If so, I like UO's chances

We shall see...

If Oregon grabs Levi and Ratu for DT's we'll be fine until next year class rolls around and having two islanders on your D line can't be a bad thing at their size and weight and let our third islander Buckner really get after the edge.

As for Trey it's not that I don't think he could be a Duck but if we want him to quack for us! Football doesn't seem to be his #1 issue where guys like Levi have tried hard to get our attention. As for Ratu he's got some legacy shoes to fill so he'll be motivated. Put both of these kids in our amazing new gym with good eating habits and these could be our diamonds in the ruff.

And I'm fine with our current crop of WRs. Getting those DTs are priority.

New texas coaching staff making hard push for springs have at least visited his mother.

I still think JuJu is thinking he could be a legend here, and at USC he's part of a list of 5 stars who either made it or not. Right now USC has Cravens and McQuay III at his same position both sophomores! At Oregon he'd be the man in our secondary with Springs both playing different positions.

Why would Spring's mother be entertaining coaches if her son was sure where he wanted to go as so many have thought here? Product grab, or is he having doubts?

Rumors are that Ratu has been cleared acedemically and will be on a OV in Eugene this weekend

Juju getting an in home visit tonight from Oregon coaches... rumors are UO's slim chances are getting a little fatter

Levi cancels visit, not looking great at the dt front unless Trey fells LSU is too full.

Jesus we need to get this guy. He can even be more lethal than Dion!

Trey L. hasn't done interviews since his OV, but I've read comments from the other two recruits (Oliver & Nelson) about their weekend in Eugene. Basically sounds like everyone had a blast

Don't be shocked if Springs flips!

I won't be any more shocked if AS flips as any verbal might, but I don't think thats going to be the case with Springs. Recent quotes I've read give me that impression

I would love to hear the story on Alfonso Hampton? He just committed to Idaho yesterday. How poor must his grades have been, or what off the field issues must this kid have going on for us to pass on him, since he for almost a year had us as his favorite? It also appears that Ratu doesn't have the grades and Levi feels he's been jerked around. If we miss on all these guys and Trey goes to LSU, I've got to ask who are we waiting on and what are we doing? These aren't 5 star lineman, so what's the backup plan? We are dangerously thin on the D line.

Ratu won't be taking an OV to Eugene this weekend, but may trip later. I guess they're still sorting out his grades. Anyhoo, while National Signing Day is next Wednesday, it's only the first day that HS Seniors can formally commit.

Can't believe we ar elosing all of these D-linemen to the wayside.

We have too high standards/ Uggggh

I like having high standards :) Ducks just got another commitment from a Strongside DE probably completely off of our collective radars named Austin Maloata. He comes from the same top level HS as Cameron Hunt & up until recently was committed to USC. Junior year highlights below
