We are so not getting Scott. SCAR or NCAR has him locked(both can use arguements of legit RB schools. See: M. Lattimore and Gio Bernard).

I like Tony James though. He can easily fit the tazer spot to succeed DAT. Plus, we can convince him he can start as a true freshman what with DAT going into the draft.

On Lockett and his plan to commit on the opening to somewhere.

Well, here is something to watch.... As of now he'll commit to Oregon. I'm pretty certain on that.

However I'm not sure Oregon will take him. They (Oregon) are in a good spot with McGraw and Springs and I'm not sure Lockett is must take at this time. This one could get interesting in the next few days.

No problem with Springs and McGraw.

Hmmm...anything we need to address this class?

top 3 (along w/Bama & Auburn) for Florida LB Vincent Jackson. He says he'll be taking an OV

Arrion Springs has us as the favorites so far, according to 247 sports. I think we're good on the corner position. Now to grab McGraw, who wants to head out west.

Springs has recently said he'll be announcing this coming weekend at The Opening. Him retweeting seemingly everything pro-Ducks that he receives and going back and forth with various 2014 UO commits probably gives us a good idea how thats going to go

Lockett commits to the Huskies. Ah well. No biggie.

Any news yet?

We told him we were full, I think if he notified the staff prior to Harrison he probably would have had that spot. Springs, McGraw, Budda, Harrison. Then done for that position.

Ah okay. Makes sense I suppose.

Whats the word on Mondeaux and some in state prospects?

this is whats being relayed by the in the know types on the rivals board as well. We should be expecting some fun this next week

Especially from those guys Daigotsu mentioned. I can't wait to hear from other recruits.

Huzzay!

Any other Duck targets at the Opening we should know of that show interest?

there are many Duck targets at the Opening but rumors aren't bubbling over anything impending like another commit in the next couple of days. I did read that Jesuit HS's Joey Alfieri has been testing (speed/agility + size up to 233lbs) and playing really well. Hopefully the coaches don't have a character reason as the reason why JA doesn't have a Duck offer yet... love seeing the local kids on the team

via ESPN, Adoree Jackson relayed that he wants to play offense in college and run track. I'm not sure this passes the sniff test, but rumors are he'll be touring UO this weekend following the Opening. The reason why I'm not so sure this is true is that PSAs who want to visit a college during a paid trip like The Opening have to decline the free airplane tickets and other goodies (hotel etc) and pay their entire way. Regardless ESPN's relaying that he's still got interest in UO and thats great news

Let's go Oregon

Steal him away like we did with DAT.

Also, he is also considering Michigan as well. They run a good track program(so I've heard) and he could fit in as a TZR/slot for their pro-style.

But yeah, him coming to Oregon? McGraw, Jackson, and Springs will make for a lethal connection. The problem is our depth at CB may scare him away. And we have a Bralon Addison to succeed DAT, not to mention we have Marshall, Tyner, and Benoit.

if he's going to play offense, why would CB depth factor? If he's looking at depth at TZR, it's DAT (who's a Sr. and may declare early) and Addison (who's been playing WR).

besides, there is always room at the top... Adoree is special

DAT isn't a senior. He's a 3rd-year junior, making him draft eligible. Mariota is also draft-eligible after this season, although he'll only be a RS soph.

Ah yes, my mistake.

Yeah, DAT will probably declare this year, as he will be the next Tavon Austin(I see the Patriots nabbing him to replace Welker).

In this case, it works out. Addison would be the starter, while Adoree will get snaps in.

Brilliant. Now all we need to do is tell him that we can use him like DAT, and we can grab him.

has an Oregon offer and is being recruited for the DLine. Has said the Ducks have made it very clear that they want him. He's still checking out his options but seems like UO is a favorite. I read at least one media attendee's impression that HM showed very well at The Opening

Well that's good to here. Shame we're gonna lose Alfieri though, he seems like a good OLB, but we have Prevot to fill in for that role

^Yup.

This time in between Blazer and Duck football season is the worst.

Holy Crap a Jayremmie sighting!!!! Welcome back my friend!

Hey man, been browsing a bit due to the Blazer's off season moves. Also, this thread is the best info on Duck recruiting that I can find on the net without paying anything.

That's cause we steal it from the paying sites and post it here

Athletes
In Darrell Scotts top 5 but most consider him a SCe lock. New interest from Adoree but again unlikely.
Tight ends.
Bryce dixon prefers warm weather (ucla/USC) I think we are pretty much out with him.
Woods will probably commit somewhere prior to visiting Oregon, probably Arizona. Him being committed elsewhere may cause us not to do an Official with him.
Goolsby wants one of our reduced officials, but not sure how serious he is.
Pierce wants an offer and may commit, but who knows if we'll give him one.
Mondeaux better of defense, but I wonder if we strike out and don't offer pierce if we offer him an athelete spot (DE/TE) then pass on taking a true TE this cycle.

Expect this next month to be slow, maybe even no commits till Aug 26th when McGraw announces (and even he isn't a 100% lock)

Would like to get Pierce. He's been getting some attention some big name SEC schools, so there is something to like about him, even if making him a Athlete.

At this rate, I think McGraw is going to UCLA. My gut is telling me him and Malachi Dupre want to go to UCLA together.

Also, if we grab Baker, would he play Safety or as a TZR to replace DAT?

did you know he choose to be roommates with Springs at the Opening? How about that he played with a set of Oregon gloves on or that he's regularly swapping tweets with various Duck recruits? Heck, rivals even had a pic of him flashing an 'O'

wherever he wants.... word was he was among the elite of the guys at the Opening. I'm pretty sure he's expressed a preference for D though
