Oooookay. Some good news. We can pluck prospects from...

Texas because Mack Brown's seat is getting warm

and USC as Kiffin't is going to be fired real quick.

So, which recruits should we swoop in on?

Lets get Lee to transfer.

Lee somehow loves Kiffin for some reason :/

Also, any word on potential prospects? Like, LBs for instance.

Back and forth rumors on Baker taking an unofficial for Tenn or not. Was going, but canceled then maybe going again. (note his official is set up for later)

Back and forth rumors on Quick's official. On, then canceled because we wanted to see his transcripts or new ACT test, then maybe back on. (we'll probably just find out saturday.) Also Unsure if he has an offer or not, I think we may tell him that we have a spot for him if he can get all of his ducks in a row requirements wise but is not quite there yet.

Hollins will be there, only a 2/3 star but our coaches are high on him. de/lb target.

Jaylen Johnson may also be there.

Jaylen Brown will be there (wr target)

247 it switching their plattenberg predictions to oregon, I don't know if that means we are opening up one of our DB targets positionally, or we are taking one more DB than expected, or something turned sour on the McGraw front. Or if they are just dead wrong and misreading their info.
Something to keep an eye on.

I'm still hearing Adoree is potentially coming in for Tenn as well. We'll see...

McGraw's rivals profile was just updated reflecting his scheduled OV for December 13th, which is during the period after the season and before the bowl games. Sounds like he remains very interested in Oregon

Also, Royce rips USC a new one on twitter.

DBs, DBs everywhere. Where's the OLB love? :/

rumblings that California Athlete John "Juju" Smith is going to take an OV this fall. Hailing from Long Beach, he's been thought to be a USC lean... did something change :pimp:

So...any word on potential prospects? How did they enjoy their OVs?

All I can say is WOW about Rolls Royce! That article has to pump you up as a DUCKS FAN!

We supposedly lead for Berrios even after recent picks of him flashing the U, he only has a Tenn visit left. A lot of people seem to think we may get plattenburg, lots of DB this cycle if we manage to keep springs and Harrisson then get Plattengurg/Baker/McGraw.

Jaylen Johnson committed to Boise day after he got back from his oregon visit. Maybe we'll do a bigger push for JUJU then.

I have noticed that too. If a recruit goes to USC, Miami, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State they get a fifth star no sweat with Royce's body of work. They choose Oregon and they have to score 10 TD and 600 yards in a game to be considered. Strange? You be the judge!

Easy, star rankers sleep on the east coast and don't want to stay up till midnight to hear about west coast prospects.

Illinois LB Clifton Garrett has named the Ducks in his top 5 and will be setting up an OV probably after the season. He claims LSU as his leader, but I always like Oregon's chances if they get a kid on campus... their closing rate on kids who take OVs has been nearly 50% the last few seasons

JUCO RB Tyreek Hill has offers from Bama, Florida State, Oklahoma & USC, but has named Oregon as his favorite despite not yet having a Duck offer

Mondeaux down to Oregon or Washington, Stanford could be a player if they offer. He obviously hasn't been a lock for awhile, since months have past since his expected commitment.

Set of 2015 offers have come out. Maurice Smitherman (DB), Taj Griffin (RB), Jeffery Holland (LB), Jacob Daniel(DT)

Anyone think Adoree' Jackson is realistic?

he's got offers everywhere & plays his cards pretty close to the vest not really letting the public in on favorites. That he's said he's looking to take an OV to Oregon indicates to me that they've a chance... he wants to run track as well as play football in college

But people are saying he goes to Florida. Why's that?

But people are saying he goes to Florida. Why's that?

Some unnamed insider source (coach, relative, friend) is saying that he really liked his unofficial visit there and is strongly considering it. Who knows though as these sources often turn out to wrong. If he visits, I like UO's chances

Supposedly we may offer Autry if he visits, enough that hopkins is randomly predicting him to Oregon (only one)

He is probably doing that to stir up more interest in his article than an actual shot.

Something to note though.

Oregon Target Berrios got hurt, not sure how bad.

Rolls Royce 200 + yards last night and 5 TD's.... This kid is a machine!

QB commit Morgan Mahalak went 12-13 for 239 yards & 3 TDs leading his team to a very Oregon like 56-7 blowout. Emulating another MM, he sat the entire 2nd half

OZ went to see unraked/ 2 star TE Jake knight. Supposedly we are his dream school. Hopkins immediately predicted him to Oregon. No offer yet, and we may not offer. (not sure we take a TE this class still)

We could use Knight for some depth though. Couldn't hurt to get a TE a class. With the way Mundt is playing, we will be having TEs leaving by their junior years. Knight could redshirt.

rivals hasn't scouted him, which is usually the case for kids from sparsely populated states like Idaho. That said, his rivals profile relays that he's 6'4 220, runs a 4.7 40, has a 35" no step vertical, and sports a 3.4 GPA. If those #s are true, it makes total sense that Oregon would reciprocate interest and send out their coaches to see whats what.
