Too soon?

Dorrell Wright's brother looks like he'll be better than the former.

Russell is gonna be legit but he should stay another year (or two) in college to beef up and hone his skills. He has potential to be one hell of a 2 guard that can ISO effectively.

Similar size, Wright is a better ball handler but Robinson is more athletic, both are decent-not great shooters but overall efficient players.

Both will be rotation guys in the NBA, I don't see stars though.

Wright has playmaking abilities. Robinson had 0

Think B. Roy.

He's 20/5/5 on 50 FG% and 45 3PT% (on 7 3ptA) - 61 TS%

He does need to bulk up but they guy is young for his class (fresh.) - Roy was a twig his freshman year too.

Idk about that, those Michigan teams he was on had a lot of talent that was better than him, put Wright on those Michigan teams and you're likely to get similar results.

On a side note idk how Michigan didn't win a chip with the teams they had, I know they got close against Louisville but damn...

If Draftexpress is correct, then Wright is in the range of where Portland will be selecting. He doesn't need to be a "star", but just a solid rotational player. I think Wright would be a really good fit next to Lillard & Matthews (switching between the 1 & 2).

I think this will be a fairly deep draft. There are a lot of guys projected to be in the 20-35 range that I really like. Again, they will not be stars - but solid players... like a Chandler Parsons talent level (who was drafted in the 2nd round).

This draft is extremely deep, I agree.

I really like Sam Dekker (looks like a potential Batum re-placer, long term) and Nigel Williams-Goss.

If there is a player I'd consider moving up for, it'd be Justise Winslow.

Is it safe to say we should've drafted Olynyk instead of CJ?

I'd try like hell to trade into the lotto to select RJ Hunter.

I just googled him, he seriously looks like Joakim Noah and Landry Field's love child.

Draftexpress has him in the 25-range... right about where Portland will be picking. Don't know how high you would actually have to go to get him.

I think it's fair to say that we should have drafted anyone else.
I was hoping Portland would trade down from #10 with either Minny (#14 & #21) or Atlanta (#16 & #17). I really liked Gobert and was targeting him. I also liked MCW (if we stayed at 10 ). In hindsight, I wish we would have drafted MCW and traded up from the second round to get Gobert.

Note on MWC - I think we need a big PG who can guard a SG and who can play with Lillard. That is why I like Wright & Grant this year...

Jalil doesn't have the freakish size of DeMarcus.

I see more Al Jefferson.

Stanley Johnson reminds me of a prime Artest.

Okafor should be the #1 pick. He's got some big boy moves. Lots of polish.

Brazil's George Lucas is this years Giannis - A 6'5" PG with a 7'1" wingspan:

With Wes/Arron/CJ I think I'd shift my focus from RJ Hunter to a big.

Meyers is clearly a PF and Kaman looking like a short-term stop gap -- packaging this pick for a center prospect would be my priority.

Jokic was THE guy I wanted Neil to go after in the second round before Denver scooped him up at #41. Showing improvement and IMO easily worth our first-rounder. With Nurkic developing into a beast at center, I'd think they'd be open to it.

Brazil is putting out a lot of long kids lately like Bruno and Nogueria.

What do you think of Hezonja?

The only guys I've kept tabs on the last few years were Saric and Jokic.

Hezonja is a guy I knew would be well out of our reach when he came out though.

With our 2017 pick going to Denver we could still trade this years pick if we make the pick for that team, right?

Mudiay looked amazing in China, where is the talent level in China compared to college?

I like Warren Gillis as a Ron Harper type. http://www.goccusports.com/sports/m-baskbl/mtt/warren_gillis_779987.html
Probably not on any draft board, since he's from a small school (coastal carolina) but I like this guy a lot, seen him play once last year and was very impressed, a smart, team-first player, good decision maker, very solid in almost every aspect of the game, just a very good all-around player.
He's a senior now so he's eligible, don't think we (or anyone else) would take him, but he's a personal fetish of mine.

The guy to keep an eye on this year is Willy Hernangomez.

Slated to go early second, should go a lot higher like Jokic, an upside pick with legit center size. Raw but has a little Marc Gasol in skillset and size: 6'11" | 255 lbs | 7'2" wingspan | 9'1" reach | 20 y/o

Kristaps Porzingis apparently is pushing a legit 7'2" and can play above the rim. I wouldn't at all be surprised if he went over Okafor on draft day.

Chad Ford is already calling Poeltl the biggest sleeper in this draft:

Ceiling: Pre-injury Bogut.

So some kid by the name of Xavier Rathan-Mayes scored 30 points in the last 4 mins and 38 seconds of the game but his team (Florida State) still lost!
