I am free the 23rd in the morning. So I will be able to watch all night long the NBA Draft! The most difficult part will be to decide wether or not I will want Woj to spoil every pick.

I also like the feeling of Silver coming on the stage and not knowing what happens next. Same when Bill Simmons learned about the Bennett Pick live. This 2013 draft was great to follow without spoilers. ->

I'm with you on that. I like watching the draft without being distracted. Ruins it for me if i know 2 picks ahead of what they announce on tv.

That's the only time of year I like this. I've got notifications for every Woj Tweet. Barely sleeps on 1st of July for Free Agency. But the draft is something special.

I say we make it a family event where kids are welcome if the weather is good. As long as there is someone to watch them in the pool, I say a family event. Most people either have plans or wont be able to make it anyhow.
I know a few others that might not be able ot make it because of family,. but if they are able to come and the weather is nice, us guys can be in the man cave and the women and children can enjoy the pool. :)

Van, a friend of mine might have his two year old and wife with him.
If I can talk @HailBlazers to bring the wife and kid, then Id say lets do it.

@PtldPlatypus I hope you know that was an honest mistake there bro. :)
 
I won't be there. Have two early-appointments/opportunities on the morning of the 23rd before I head to The Santana concert up in Woodinville that afternoon. Driving back-and-forth to then head back ain't happening.

I appreciate the invite and hope to join an event at OB's home one of these times, though. Cheers!

Okay, are people legit serious about this?

Blazers just sent me more info that now I get a free buffet and drink and souvenir glass if I go to their draft party.

I'm still totally down for holding my own, but don't want people cancelling at the last minute and then I lose out on both party options, lol.

So far @Chris Craig and @dviss1 are the only ones from here for sure committed. Is that correct?

I will be there but feel like we're screwing you out of a nice deal from the Blazers. I'm looking forward to the party but won't blame you if you decide otherwise. As the date gets closer please let me know what I can bring to round things out.
 
3 people from here is enough for me to keep it going cause I have a couple other people heading over as well.

Okay still on. And that is okay because Id rather be comfortable at home with friends. than in a crowded bar.

Actually I have to RSVP if I want to go to it. up to 4 tickets I can get for free though.
 
Thanks for the generous offering up of your place. My life is crazy busy at the moment so i'll be unable to attend. Have a blast though and i'll catch the next one.
