Oh FFS I'm flying to WA on the 28th. I'd seriously try to make it down there if it was pushed back a week. I should petition Silver to do that.

Only a few days away. Ill PM those who are coming, my Addry tomorrow
Getting stoked. ALmost hoping the Blazers don't pull the trigger on anything early and its a mystery going into 4pm and then we come out swinging!!!!

Y'all scaring the shit outta me.

HCP was right. There's a lot more of you backwoods/backdoor/basement- dwelling nerds here than I realized.

I figured out what WINCO stood for about 15 years ago. Same effect. lol

In 1999, Waremart changed its name to WinCo Foods. According to the company, the name WinCo is a portmanteau of Winning Company; however, the company also claims (as a "fun fact") that it also refers to the five states where the company originally operated stores (Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, and Oregon).

I've heard this before somewhere, but I just can't put my finger on where that was...

I used to work for Winco in college. Some people say it's "winning company."

Others say, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon. Which were the states they had stores in (which is no longer the case, they have stores in other states now)

It's the second one.

The first one sounds stupid.

That almost sounds like something a "Mad Man" would come up with on a cocktail napkin.

I’m out.
Signed the papers to sell my house in Vancouver, and need to move the rest of my toys and junk to my shebang in Idaho, ASAP.

Orion Bailey, thank you for going to all the effort and trouble to entertain these rascals. Wish I could be there for the party. Have fun, and good luck to the Blazers.
