I don't mind the buy in amount, but if lowering it would get a few more guys in the league, I would prefer that. The camaraderie is what I like the most - I don't really care about the money, but I do think there needs to be some kind of buy in, because free leagues get forgotten about way too much and become garbage real fast. When money is on the line, people pay attention. If we can find the right balance to get more guys in, i'm all for it @BonesJones

We should have 10 people at $50, which is the goal. Already have 8 people with 2 maybes.

The 2 maybes said no. We got 8 still, so this is the last call for forum members, and if not, would y'all be cool opening up to friends of league members (who are Blazer fans)? Could bring them to the forum.

Yeah, I don't care as long as we get to 10 or 12. Opening it up should make it easy to get 12.

I like 10 because it makes it so that we can have an offensive player spot (which would usually be a 2nd QB).

But this is up to yall if you guys wanna go for 12 people with no offensive player spot or 10 people with an offensive player spot. Being able to play 2 QBs was fun last year, and with a 4pt for passing TD rate, it made QBs closer to positional players which made for a very interesting draft.

HAAK went with two QBs in the first couple rounds and won the championship.
I was the last person to draft QBs (one of them was Wentz) as I stacked up on positional players and I was runner-up.

...OK, I will see what I can do -- I have another league that might be falling apart this year so a few of those guys might be interested in this setup. Did I understand this thread correctly when everyone prefers 10 total instead of 12 teams?

I'm not sure if we prefer 10 or 12 people. Others should chime in.

Would you prefer 12 people with no offensive player spot or 10 people with an offensive player spot?

Also, would y'all want to do a live draft at Dave & Busters for $15 a person? Would post Draft Results online for those not attending. Would need 10 people but it'd be open to anyone who'd want to come hangout.

This depends on the timing for me, I have a ton of work to do, and then my oldest s birthday next weekend + will be at a developer conference for a week, then my wife is having surgery and won’t be able to take care of our kids for a while so I’ll have to do that.
So what I’m saying is I’ll have internet access but My schedule is gonna be pretty whack starting this Monday thru the 10th of September
