It's cazy that Giannis is this other-worldly talent while his brothers are scrubtastic.

Yes, it is. I can think of no bigger insult than calling someone a Russell Westbrook fan. That shit's ban worthy!

The hate for Russ runs strong thru your veins...... I swear one day I am going to introduce you to him and let you have a sit down and you can critique his game face to face.

Like he'd actually listen. If his coach and teammates can't convince him to give up the stat-padding hero ball, what makes you think he'd listen to random forum poster guy?

P.S. I don't actually hate the guy, but I abhor his selfish, me-first style of play. It's a team sport. True superstars (like LeBron) realize that and use their talents to elevate their teammates.

The irony is that the Blazers too often shove Dame into the same hero-ball role.

He plays exactly how I post! That’s why I love him!

Ouch.

You say that, but we both know it's not true. You actually care bout this forum, not just your own personal glory. As evidenced by your relentless efforts to properly indoctrinate new members and curtail the posting of frivolous topics.

If all you cared about were your own stats, you'd be padding your like count by sucking up to the rookies and encouraging @KingSpeed to start even more threads.

At least the Rockets blow ass this year.
And the Jazz.. All teams seem to be in the same boat as us. The west is underachieving except for LAC and MEM.

It's actually crazier when this DOESN'T happen. We don't expect the brother of a great surgeon to be a great surgeon.

You say some weird things, but that takes the cake. Sibling athleticism is about as safe a bet as there is in the sporting world. Intellectual stuff and career choices are all over the map.

Good for Pat.

He's actually having a very solid season. Oddly enough, not on the strength of his 3-point shooting. He's doing it with defense, rebounding and two point shooting.

Different players, different positions, different roles, but an interesting statistical comparison:

It's funny: we were lukewarm about most of the players Olshey acquired, bitched about them while they were here, and now are bitching about how well they're doing on other teams.

Well, except for Crabbe.

Bucks lost to the Hornets tonight, and the Warriors are losing to the Magic.

Those 2 blow-outs are looking worse and worse.

You say some weird things

They only seem weird to you because you're not used to hearing sense.

but that takes the cake.
Mmmmmmm. Cake.

I'm pretty sure actual research would undermine your confidence. You think the only NBA players with brothers are the NBA players who have brothers in the NBA? Jerryd Bayless has a brother who works on Wall Street.

Do you get the idea that identifying and developing talent may not be a strong point for the current Blazer brain-trust?

I'm not a fan of Olshey but I have to admit - he got us RoLo, who overperformed enough to price himself out of our range. Then he got us Mason Plumlee, who also turned his career around as a Blazer, and helped us get Nurk, who is great. I bet there are plenty of other teams' fans who envy that.
