they are just dysfunctional. Booker and Durant don't complement each other and the supporting cast is low-level, inconsistent, and mismatched

the franchise is a mess. They don't have their own fist round pick this season and will likely have the 30th pick. And they don't have the 2027, 2029, and 2031 first's. And there are some complicated swaps obligated for the off years

they are 2-9 over the last 11 games; have gone from 3 games over .500 to 4 games under. And they have the most difficult remaining strength of schedule; and they don't have their own draft pick..looks like the implosion has already happened and it was a big one

This is why getting a new young aggressive owner has its flaws. I have no problem with a rich silent one. Assuming they hire the right person to run things.
