He'd be way better than any of the scrubs they signed, but didn't he take LAL off his "list" because he didn't want to play in LeBron's shadow?

That's not the question though... The question is: would he be better than the young guys they would have to give like Hart+Ingram (maybe Lonzo\Kuz too?)

Fuck yes. LeBron is in win now model not babysit the kids mode.

And, if they had LeBron and Kawhi, they would be a prime destination/market for cheap veteran ring chasers.

Well the real question at the time was whether or not he was healthy. There were real concerns going forward and still might be, although it really looks like he's fine and just pouted his way out of SA.

Assuming he's back to being Kawhi, it's a star league and f I was in charge of the Lakers (EWWWWWWWWWWWWW) I would rather have another type top-5 player with LeBron and take my chances adding vet min guys around those two instead of doing what the Lakers are doing now.

Not true at all.

DEN started last season 9-7 before Millsap got hurt. That's a 46-win pace, which is exactly how may games they won.

For the season, DEN was 22-16 in the games Millsap played. For the season that's a 47-win pace, one more game than they actually won. This myth that DEN was somehow much better last year when Millsap played is exactly that, a myth.

Right you are...but I feel like some key players were hurt early for Denver before milsap went down. Could be wrong though.

Their only other significant injury was Gary Harris, but that happened near the end of the year when he missed 11 games from mid-March through early April.

Millsap is still a good player, but he's not the savior some seem to make him out to be. The real key for DEN will be the continued development of their young players (9 of their top 13 players are 24 or younger), especially on the defensive end.

Ah okay. I'm still of the belief that Malone is not the right coach for that roster. That is a playoff team and he has yet to get them there.

See, That's what i think as well.
They're getting the best player in the league at the end of his career and they act as if they got plenty of time to build around him.

He was pretty competitive against the Warriors with scrubs around him, imagine if he had Kawai to keep KD at bay.

Compete for a championship now because Lonzo,Hart and Ingram are not exactly future dynasty material.

This is a great image. I'm going to start walking around with a sleep mask on my head.

Lonzo, Hart & Ingram are ballers and will be Flakers for a few years. The old vets on that team could be gone next year. A few maybe even this year.

I like Denver, they really play good basketball. And obvs, Jokic too, best big man in the league with Embiid. KAT can learn.

It looks like New Orleans and Denver are about to announce G-League teams. That leaves just one team without a G-League affiliate...

Yup, it's our Portland Trail Blazers.

Maybe that's what I should do when I win Mega Millions.

Doubt anything happens this season with our ownership issues pending

This is why I'm not scared of Denver:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Jokic made a business decision on Klay&#39;s dunk <a href="https://t.co/RTGq4Ad9t7">pic.twitter.com/RTGq4Ad9t7</a></p>&mdash; SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) <a href="">October 22, 2018</a></blockquote>
<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Their best player in a close 4th quarter game with a little over 5 minutes left chooses to duck away on defense instead of try and contest a dunk by Klay Thompson. Before anyone says maybe he was in foul trouble, he only had 2 fouls for the game. Jokic is lucky they won the game or he'd be getting crushed for this.

When LeBron dunked on Nurk last year it doesn't bother me because I love the fact Nurk tried to contest the shot.
