I suppose there COULD be a way to arrange the picks in a way that makes sense, but it is extremely difficult to trade picks every two years for that long with protections because then it starts to mess with the years in future years. Doing it the way you suggest would result in possibly not getting 4 first rounders. I doubt the T-Wolves would do that considering the crap they'd be getting other than the picks.I think as long as the protection doesn't cause them to be without a 1st round pick two years in a row, they will be ok.
For example if they trade their 2019 and 2021 1st round picks with the 2019 top 5 protected. The 2019 pick can't convert to a 2020 1st round pick if it ends up being top 5.
The protection could be something like, if the 2019 pick ends up being a top 5 pick, MIN gets HOU's 2019 and 2020 2nd round picks.
Or something like, if HOU's 2019 pick is top 5, MIN gets the better of their own pick and HOU's pick in 2020.

Dennis Schroder has a TS% of under 40%. That's terrible. OKC sucks.
And then they can play them together and run the double shitty offense. He is Westbrook light. Great pick up for them. It simplifies things. They can run the same shitty offense for Schroeder that they run for Westbrook.

LINK?@Boob-No-More is so right about Westbrook
You spelled fanboy wrong you ass gobbler!I've been saying the same things about Westbrook for the last seven years. The fanbois like @HCP call me a hater, but bless Russ' selfish little heart, he just keeps proving me right, over and over and over again.

Im not a big fan of Russ but he’s got just as many MVP’s as the entire Blazer Organization. Been to the Finals once, the conference finals as well. They could have a contest to see who can force up the most low percentage shots and commit the most unforced TOVs. My money is on Russ. He's never been one to share the ball with the game on the line, even with players who deserved to have the ball.

Least his team actually won a game in the playoffs last year while us Blazers fans just got to whine about the match ups.
Sure WB is a selfish BB player, and could end up never winning a championship because of it, but he’s had more success in his career than the Blazer Organization has in the last 15 years or so.
Would I rather have Dame? Yes, but westbrick still a much better option than like 25 teams have at point.

Well for one he’s had two HoF team mates, Harden leaving had nothing to do with him though. Sure KD left because of him, but KD is just as selfish as he is.Russ has also been surrounded by HOF teammates his entire career, more efficient scorers that he froze out with the games on the line and ultimately ran out of Cowtown. Surround Dame that same level of talent and he'd have multiple rings by now.

I'm starting more and more to believe a possible conspiracy theory that Paul George re-signed with OKC to keep his options open for what team he wants to play for. If this is true then the Lakers could just try to trade for him later this year when he becomes eligible.Simmons hinted on a podcast recently that the NBA may have told Magic and the Lakers not to pursue George or they would hit them with a serious tampering charge.

You have 0 proof that Dame would have a ring or multiple had he played with those guys, thats just speculation.
Harden was really young, and so was Russell when Harden went to houston, WB wasnt holding him back in OKC. Carmelo is HoF sure but he’s at the point in his career it doesnt matter where be plays he just sucks.Melo sucked last year but he's a future HOFer. Both Harden and Oladipo suddenly became all stars as soon as they got the fuck away from Westbrook. Paul George is a future HOFer. He made the mistake of resigning with OKC. A decision he will come to regret (if he doesn't already).
Of course, it's all speculation, but I predicted 7 years ago, the year a very young OKC team went to the finals, that they would never win a championship with Russell Westbrook as their PG. Everyone else was calling them a future dynasty, but Russ has done a great job of making me look like the basketball Nostradamus.

Dame probably wont either.
You don't need the hyperbole... Russ is bad enough without it.Here you go, rook:
http://www.nba.com/games/20181025/BOSOKC#/boxscore
Westbrook shot 5 - 20 FG, 0 - 5 3FG, committed 5 TOVs, 5 fouls and was -5 for the game.
He's not just a triple-double threat, he's a 5x5 player (just not in a good way).
Westbrook hero ball in action and the all too predictable results:

Dames my favorite player right now. The guy is awesome off and on the court. Winning a ring is hard though and the Blazers dont seem all that close right now.YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH !!
Wouldn't that be a verb?I like that "Westbrooked" is now a noun.
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/10/26/18026132/russell-westbrook-thunder-winless
"With the game falling away from the Thunder, Westbrook Westbrooked. He took three 3s and three midrange pull-ups in the final six minutes and 13 seconds of the game, missing all six."
Regardless of when it happened, it's bullshit and has been proven incorrect. We were not the luckiest team in the league when it came to opponent health last season. Somewhere there's a thread about it, complete with supporting data. I believe of the playoff teams in the West, plus DEN we were pretty close to "average" (maybe slightly above average) with respect to playing opponents without their top players. It's a false narrative, but a popular one around here none-the-less.

Wouldn't that be a verb?
If people did more "Mad Libs", we wouldn't have this problem. There's a joke about American education here but I won't do it
