The reason we weren't successful with Bowie is that he was injured, period. Really not relevant to the point you're
trying to make. And your point, is easy to negate, anyway. The cavs took Anthony Bennett because they thought
he was the best player in the draft, not because of position. They were just wrong.
Nah. Portland wanted a center. Once they lost out on the chance to get Hakeem they settled on Bowie. Jordan was the better prospect but Blazers already had Drexler.
Teams draft for need all the time. This isn’t some hot take I’m making.
