I'm in, if you want me to be.
Depends if we have enough. I was thinking of this as a YouTube creator thing. Will probably still do the same thing with posters on this forum if theyre interested.

I'm not sure what YouTube creator means. Are you talking about people that have their own channel and stuff?

A couple 2nd round prospects I really like are Jevon Carter and Alize Johnson.

Who give a shit about 2nd rd prospects... you think there are minutes for 2nd rounders to be had for a team trying to make the 2nd rd of playoffs... stop thinking so small... this team needs big changes

Jacob Evans III and Moritz Wagner are also very underrated.

Lmao. You're the one thinking small my friend. Thinking that we need to make sweeping changes for what? To rebuild or contend?

You proposed trading Nurkic for DeAndre Jordan at the trade deadline and flipped out because I thought it was a horrible move. After the trade deadline, Nurkic was the much better player, who's younger, and not declining.

The right 2nd round picks can take a good team to elite status. I'm sure we'd love to add Patrick Beverly and Marvin Williams to this team for $1M a piece. That's what those guys could be. There's 15 roster spots. We have to make the most out of each one to try to build up that asset capital to make a move that pushes us over the top.

FYI, this is an NBA draft thread, not a "The Blazers need to trade everyone for every draft pick!" thread.

I'm discussing prospects... Not even in context of the Portland Trail Blazers... but in context of the NBA DRAFT.

Listen to yourself bro, you’ve just gone off the deep end... you think a major trade is small minded, and a 2nd rd pick is gonna save the day... wow

This team couldn’t even win one game against the freakin Pelicans without Cousins... and you think a 2nd rd pick is gonna come in a save the day??? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!

Guys, we just need to draft Chandler Hutchinson and we are going straight to the finals... 20+ GMs in the NBA are wrong about this guy... BonesJones know a superstar when he sees one...

Small-minded in terms that, we struggle against the Pelicans, and you just sit here saying "Blow it up and trade everyone!". What type of thinking does that take? That's a small-minded take.

When did I say a 2nd round pick is going to save the day? Now you're just making stuff up to try to make yourself sound better in your own mind...

I've stated that we need to get better role players, change the coach and/or our style of play, etc. I've suggested many improvements we could make, and because there's a couple 2nd round picks that I think could help us down the road as a 7th/8th man, you're freaking out and somehow I think they'll "save the day"?

Face. Palm.

Cmon man.

Lmao. Making stuff up that makes no sense and no one ever said because you can't even argue your own points well.

Nikola Jokic... Marc Gasol... Manu Ginobli... Tony Parker... Draymond Green... Jimmy Butler... Khris Middleton...

Not just because we lost to Pelicans... because the Pelicans man handled the Blazers... it wasn’t even close... Also, I watch every single game... besides the 13 game streak this team was super frustrating... struggling against shitty teams or teams with major starters out... they had basically a .500 record outside of the streak... and went 5-7 after the streak when trying to secure position. The worst part is there are no excuses... one of the healthiest teams in the league this year and had a full training camp together... Still finished DEAD LAST in assist and fast break points because of McLillard ISO ball

So why not change to a style of play that uses McCollum and Lillard off the ball more and values ball and player movement? Why do we have to blow up the whole fucking franchise?

Nikola Jokic... Marc Gasol... Manu Ginobli... Tony Parker... Draymond Green... Jimmy Butler... Khris Middleton...
So you name 7 players in the last 20 years... what is that, a 1% chance... and you have faith in Neil to find that guy... and faith in Stotts to give big minutes to allow development to a 2nd rd pick... nice!

Why is trading CJ blowing up the franchise... he is not Michale Jordan... just get talent at other positions.. don’t commit half the salary cap to the backcourt for two players that do the same thing... whybis that blowing it up

Funny thing is that Olshey drafted DeAndre Jordan in the 2nd round, which was one of the guys you wanted to trade CJ for a couple hours ago. LMAO

Those guys are all all-star level players, and some I didn't even mention. That's not evening mentioning good role players that are around the very late 1st to early 2nd that have come out of the draft which would make us noticeably better. Add Kyle Kuzma or Dillon Brooks to this team and we're better.

How is it going to fix anything? You really think he was the only reason we were last in assists with a bigger margin between us and 29th than between 29th and 15th? You really think it's not a philosophy/set issue, even though Al-Farouq Aminu tries to isolate and go one-on-one against Anthony Davis in the playoffs...? And somehow getting Robert Covington and Dario Saric is going to FIX THAT?

Golden State has two-back court players that do the same thing. CJ and Dame aren't ISO-Only players. They play very well off the ball, however they're not utilized in that way. The notion that they can't co-exist is so far-fetched and ignorant...

You just lost all credibility... do you even watch basketball or just look up random advances stats... there is nothing ISO ball about Steph Curry or Klay Thompson... their offense is a thing of beauty because the swing the ball around for the best shot... You don’t even watch games do you

The only time I can think of a team winning a championship with such short guards was the bad boy pistons. I’m not saying Dame and CJ have no shot at winning, but their gonna need a lot of help.

The person with the least credibility saying I've lost all credibility is extremely ironic. Do I know basketball? What a great question.

No shit there isn't ISO ball with them. Is your reading comprehension really that bad?

I'm saying CJ and Dame have the skill to play that style, and I don't believe they're unwilling too. I think it's a philosophical and style of play issue, without enough sets utilizing those guys off the ball like Curry and Thompson are.

I don't even watch the games? You're not that stupid, are you?

We have one short guard relative to his position, and that's C.J. Dame isn't short at all for a PG, he's actually one of the bigger PGs in the league.

So a short SG... Okay. What does that hurt? Defense. That's about it. We showed we could play near-elite level defense last year. So what's the issue with C.J. being a short SG?
