Maybe we should really work on all of us treating new forum members with a bit more respect. I would hate to see new members chased off for just voicing their opinions. I think I speak for the majority on here.

Dude, I've admitted that it didn't seem like a joke and that I only took problem with it because it seemed serious. What more do you want and why are you still upset?

Your original post was fine. We have one guy here who hates White American Born Centers, complains about them all the time, that's where WABC came from. I'm one of those losers that cheers for laundry, if they're in a Blazer jersey I will cheer for them to do good and argue that they are or will eventually be great.

Hey man, don’t leave just because one member treated you poorly. Trust me, it’s not you. He has a history of having major issues with a lot of members in here. We’re really trying hard to keep our little forum going on in spite of his attacks. Holler at The HCP if you have any questions or concerns. Once again, welcome and hope you stick around. S2 will be a better forum with someone as passionate about hoops as you are.

I got called an idiot and told i wouldn’t last multiple times, the key is not giving a shit. Try not to take sports forum banter seriously, for every user who rags on you theres another one who will agree with you.
 
It's funny to me how someone who was obviously trolling and only played the "I was joking" card when he got called out as being racist is now being treated like a victim here and heralded as some good poster who got attacked for no reason.

I don't want him to leave but it's pretty weak to come in here looking for a fight and then to get all butt hurt and take your ball and go home when you get one.

When someone says something that sounds 100% serious to you and would be weird if it was passed off as a joke, do you ask them if it's a joke?

HCPs going to take his side because I said HCP was driving a couple people away last summer and HCP will continue to joke about it till he's on his deathbed. So now that it's me who's "bullying" and "driving this poster away", he's going to jokingly post what he's been posting.

It just made no sense because I accepted it as a joke and tried to have a basketball conversation with him, which is what he wanted.

This whole situation is just GOLD Jerry..... GOLD! He claims (but has no actual proof) that The HCP causes people to not only quit S2, but those that we’re going to join don’t because of him, actually just MADE SOMEONE QUIT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ALL OF US...... ha!!!!! The irony FAMS. And then to top it off, he claims The HCP is pretending to be the guy he’s arguing with.....ha!!!!!

My mama says trolling is as trolling does. Mama always did have a way of explaining things so I could understand them.

I've seen a hundred initial posts exactly like that one. They were all trolls. If this one was different, and the guy is a sincere Blazers fan, well, then that's a first.

I'm willing to give him a second chance. But the boo-hoo poor me, nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I think I'm going to go outside and eat worms routine isn't very ingratiating either.
