I think #s 3 & 4 are probably the only plays in that video that might be outside Collins' talent level. The rest of them seem wholly possible for him.

Not on the coaching staff or traveling. Just helps at home.

Joakim Noah? Yeah no. Have you seen Collins pass anything like Noah? Has Noah ever had collins level of footwork? Noah can barely shoot outside of 15 feet.

He's much more Pau Gasol than anything else.

Again, no. Collins couldn't score in Summer League. He will definitely NOT be ROY. Pau was. Collins may hope to become Gasol-esque one day, but if he does, it will be an amazingly steep upward curve. Pau Gasol has more championships THAN THE ENTIRE TRAIL BLAZERS FRANCHISE.

If Gasol had gone to an American university he would've been more hyped than Christian Laettner. Because he was much better. And he sure as hell would've started on his college team.

Right now we'll be lucky if Collins contributes like Nick Collison. And I mean that sincerely. We will be lucky.

Dude. You're not making sense. It's not about his numbers or what he contributes at all. It's not about putting up similar numbers in whatever season. It's about his skill set.

And yes, his skill set is that of Pau gasol.

They are both tall and can play basketball, so that much is true.

I'll add to this that no one thinks he is as good as prime OstrichFace Gasol right now. Just listing him as a template for Collins' skill set and what he could become.

Is he as good as Pau offensively? No. Probably never will be. But the score the EXACT same way.

I'd also wager to say he's gonna be a much better Swish3er than Pau ever was.
