I like the team rallying around Whiteside on that rough foul by Ingles.
 
guys, i HATE to say that because after the summer hype he was the main reason i was excited for this season, BUT our defensive problems comes first and foremost from ANFERNEE.

He fucks up all our defensive rotations, at this point in his career he's a complete defensive liability.

He needs to put up so much muscle.
 
I guess every fanbase thinks they're going all the way this year in the WC. Utahs announcers make it like they're unstoppable.

Sorry but I think you're wrong. Stott's defensive system is dependant on the big to do a lot of the work. The real issue started before Anfernee subbed in, it was Skal. He's doesn't cover the amount of space Stott's system requires. Anfernee isn't a good defender right now but the issue is the back up big's.
 
how is that not a moving screen??? Gobert is walking a long side of dame and relocating WHILE Conley goes around him...
 
Jazz are going to be a problem this year.

We need CJ in with the 2nd unit. That's it. Someone that can bail out bad possessions and put pressure on the defense.
 
So I think our starters is going to be really good this year but our bench I believe is going to kill us.. I just feel like we don’t have no defense on our bench. The offense will be stagnant as well. Simons as great as he is offensively already just isn’t ready to carry that burden
 
3 players already double figures Dame CJ and Zach. But our big problem is the 3 point line we got to figure it out

Craig Bolerjack--I don't mind his PBP calls it's nice to hear Matt Harpring's thoughts too. There's definitely worse broadcasts in the league though (Rockets, Warriors, and Cavs to name a few haha).

I mean he's bad at his job. There's about 3 calls he's called a three when they were 10 feet inside the line. He's constantly calling names wrong, on both sides. He called Whiteside Skal, he called Bazemore Tolliver, he's even messing up the players on the Jazz's side. He's like Marv Albert now.
 
Honestly i think we should consider to bring in a veteran PG and give Anfernee another year to bulk up and learn how to play defense.

If we're serious about winning a championship we can't give meaningful minutes to Simons, he's just not ready unfortunately.

I think you wait until mid way through the year. Give him time and see if by midseason he is looking better. This is essentially his rookie year in terms of actually getting real minutes.

I wouldn't bring one in right now.
But I did lose my shit when Simons pushed Skal to go check the perimeter guard. While Simons made the decision to check the big.
Led to that nice reverse by green all because of lazy effort.
But it was lazy by both of them. Not just Simons.

I really hope he proves me wrong because, like i said, i was so excited to see him after Olshey's comments.

but at this point he doesn't seems enough polished on offense and and is a total nightmare defensively.

Does he have an incredible talent for scoring? yes, but it's not enough, AT THIS POINT (he still so young)
