My suspicion is that he wanted to retire earlier but they pushed him give it another shot, will be interesting to hear the full story.

I feel much better taking the risk on Gordon since I have Ekeler! Hard to give up Gurley as I think his risk is overstated and Guice has a ton of upside. I wouldn't have done this trade if I didn't have Ekeler though. Minimizes the risk.

Outside of Houston I don't know who's trading for him. And it probably won't be as good of an offensive situation.

I don't know what teams would be willing to both trade assets and pay Gordon what he wants though. Seems like it would be a dumb move so Houston probably will.

They just gave Shady $3 million guaranteed this year. Unless they suffer a key RB injury I don't see them making a move like that.
