Painted Hills theme, font from the White Stag sign.

Yikes.

What is with the blue and gold stripes?

I like em. I still wish the first ones (with plaid) were red, but I like these as they are.

And, I think, there is a subtle hint towards the old MC colors.

The stripe down the side with what looks like a mountain is decent, but just "Oregon" is meh. Maybe they want to include the WHOLE state in the fandom. I know the spirit for our Blazers in the Eugene-Springfield area is weak. Maybe this would get it going more. Is that geographical lines i see in the print?

The more i look, the more is like them I like the Oregon belt patch.

Replace the multicolored mountain range (or whatever it is) with plaid and I'm sold. Like these old UNC unis, only in autumn colors:

A miss. Nothing about that jersey screams "Portland Trail Blazers" or "Rip City." The lack of team colors is a negative because we have such a strong palette. And, aside from the logo on the shorts, there's nothing that indicates this is a Trail Blazers uniform.

We had the best City Edition jerseys in the league last year and an overall strong history with design ... this feels forced. Blame Nike and the NBA for mandating teams design new city jerseys every year. I think that's leading to designers reaching on a lot of concepts. We have incredibly designed city jerseys over the past three years, so the bar was extremely high. I would have pulled a Utah Jazz and said to hell with it, we're keeping this design permanent (in regards to last year's look).

At least I'll be saving $100+ dollars on not purchasing one!

This can only mean one thing....Phil Knight is buying the Blazers and moving them to Eugene!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to the Trailblazers site. They explain all the features (Honoring the Tribal Peoples of Oregon), and the colors(Natural colors of Landscape), Oregon( from the Portland sign). You can really see the geographical print. Growing on me for sure. I Love the Blazers. We all aren't going to like everything they put out there merch-wise. But hey, different strokes......

In all the years I've see the Oregon sign, I've never noticed the g is cut off. Why?
