You guys kept going after that, hence my post.
To be fair, you posted that AFTER I had already agreed to stop posting, which I did. I did not keep going.

You’re putting fourth a valiant effort to get this thread back on track. I’ll respect your efforts and end my conversation the the others now.
This was my last post, before you requested we stop. I was already done.

Could be, but I think it's mostly because she's awful. I have no loyalty towards "the Democrats" though I obviously skew "liberal".
Right. Awful. I guess it just comes down to a whim or intuition for most of the Dem centrists then? I just don’t see where her policies would draw the vitriol she gets. I just haven’t heard any logical, policy-related arguments against her. Most the time it’s more of a scathing insult-oriented thing. Or the end-all-be-all Russia theories which....yeah. I think those types of attacks are starting to lose their credibility due to overuse.

Bernie is in second place...behind Biden, who is only younger by less than a year. Your theory does not make any sense lanny.
Biden has more bounce in his step and obviously has more energy.
However, Biden is not my first choice, nor my second, third or fourth choice. I would only support him if he looked the most likely to beat Trump. I'd also vote for Bernie if he were the most likely to beat Trump. Right now, Biden looks like the most likely to beat Trump.

If the Dems really want to replace Trump, they need to come up with someone more dynamic than their current options.

I will say that thus far, on the Dem side "Mayor Pete" and Amy Klobuchar are my first picks...Pete is probably not realistically ..."electable" because of his standing as a homosexual..........Klobuchar ? I dunno. On the Rep side, unless they can produce someone other than Trump, I won't go there.

Bernie, Tulsi or Yang are the only current Democrats I’d vote for.

I think you are correct to label those three "current Democrats".

Bernie will go back to being an Independent, Tulsi will get a full-time gig on Fox News, and Yang will star in a Broadway musical version of South Park.

None of them have a future in the Democratic party, much less as President.

Of course, maybe I'm wrong, we'll see.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I don’t hold out much hope for people with integrity going far in the Democratic Party. I was just saying if hell does freeze over I may be casting a vote this election.

Funniest thing I've read/heard today.

I like both of those candidates but I'll settle for anyone who can beat Trump. ANYONE but Trump.

Bernie is WAY too far left to suit me...him and Warren.
What they campaign behind and what they can actually implement are two different things....considering the alternative...I'll take any candidate that can beat Trump and accept my differences with them...it's sort of like every other election for me other than Obama....I actually liked Obama....beyond Obama George McGovern was the last candidate I was 100% behind ..

Actually, I'm a little surprised that Obama has not considered running again...or maybe he has.

Given the last election I'm surprised George Clooney or Tom Hanks or Oprah haven't entered the race...it's become a race of entertainment personalities...I thought only a TV or movie star could upstage the "Apprentice"

How about someone from "Dancing With the Stars"? :bgrin:

Looking back at some of the press conference he had to endure, I'm really surprised that at some point his head did not explode.

Kinda like this;

That movie made me buy a banjo....it's like my Trump Voodoo doll

and for those 44% that make only $36k a year, get off your fucking ass and go get a second job and never see your kids or wife/girlfriend/mate while working your fingers to the bone so the 1% don't have to deal with you while driving luxury cars, luxury boats, luxury rv's and taking exotic vacations.
