Obama has cut a deal with Lyin' Liz.

He's telling all of his billionaire friends to donate to her in exchange for her selecting Michelle Obama as her running mate.

Thats awesome. An Elizabeth Warren/Michelle Obama ticket would be great!

How hypocritical of you as you cry more than anyone in this forum about fake news and here you are promoting fake news.

Castro: out
Williamson: laid off entire campaign staff (who ever thought she had any?)

Bernie Sanders leads the pack in funding, blowing the other candidates out of the water with an average donation amount of $18.

The $34M is very impressive.

The average donation amount is a bogus metric, though, as it is manipulated by people who make multiple small donations. If jonnyboy donates $100 to Bernie 28 times, and sallygirl donates $2800 once to Amy, who is the bigger donor?

The answer is sallygirl, because she's actually a 400lb guy on a bed somewhere.

Do you find it plausible that Bernie supporters all have an unspoken agreement to make a large number of small donations? I find it more likely that Bernie actually gets support from a large number of average people.

I don't think it is a conspiracy, but Bernie's campaign does encourage small, repeat donations, it's not exactly a secret.
That said, it is also true that he gets donations from a large number of average people.

Bernie only accepts small donations. If you want to give more then you're going to have to make multiple small donations.

I believe he is just opposed to taking donations from billionaires, corporations and lobbyists. If you want to donate a few thousand dollars, you don’t have to do it in $18 increments. Is it so hard to believe that regular working people are supporting Sanders?

I never said differently. I'd save that quip for a time when someone else says otherwise.

But does he get donations from an average number of large people?

No, the large people are supporting Amy. I thought I made that clear.

I'm large and I don't support Amy although she's probably my third or fourth choice. I'm so large that even my head is large, so large that I've been called a fat head. Shocking though it be some even in here have thought me as a fat head.

I witnessed you take the hat off your head and place it on @dviss1's. Darn thing was so big it nearly hid his entire face...

@dviss1...I wondered what happened to that guy...he had an annoying habit of putting a racial spin on just about everything.

He's a great guy. I don't always agree with him on stuff but met the man in person a few times now and he's a good guy. He isn't shy. :)
Even when it comes to racial stuff, I'm not sure I agree with him on everything he says, but heck he's a Black man, I need to just listen and try to understand why he thinks/feels the way he does rather than insert myself into it.

I don't doubt he's a nice guy but the thing that gets me is when a black person says "you don't know what it's like to be black"...well, many whites might conversely say, "you don't know what it's like to be white".

Both statements are silly and pointless, IMO.

This Iran stuff solidifies Biden as the dem nominee now.
