Could be a great fit next to Covington as a SF in our starting lineup. But no way he comes here for the MLE. Has to have an idea that he's getting a decent deal elsewhere. Prolly NY or ATLCeltics’ Gordon Hayward has opted out of his $34M deal for the 2020-21 season and will become a free agent, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

we have no capspace to sign him, don't have right assets for a decent sign and trade, Knicks or Atlanta will likely sign him with capspace onlyShocked that Hayward opted out but someone must be willing to give him big money again. Hope it is not us.
So much for tampering rules. Free agency starts in about 24 hrs. Luckily, we are limited with what we can spend.Shocked that Hayward opted out but someone must be willing to give him big money again. Hope it is not us.
I don't think there's enough minutes for Bradley unless you want to see less of Trent jr.Avery Bradley for the MLE?
lolHayward's site is Knick orange now.
NY is actually doing some good things!Ed Davis to New York.
WTF?
Seems dumb of NY. Utah clearing salaryEd Davis to New York.
WTF?
Brown is a lock to not get picked up. Hoard probably will be.Will be somewhat interesting to see if Portland extends qualifying offers to Hoard, Brown, and Gabriel today. Gabriel seems like a lock, the other two who knows.
No, a team with the Dame/CJ starting back court needs a lot more than what we have to make up for their defensive shortcomings and lack of offensive congruity. Is this team good enough to win a championship if we only add bench role players with our money?
Actually, that Ed Davis deal was a prime deal for us to make. Ed is a player who knows the system and is loved by the team, plus we get 2 free seconds out of it. There's no one else currently out there with a <$7 million dollar contract that I would see them dumping. Either they figured 2 seconds weren't worth $5 million dollars or they have some other plans with the TPE (like wasting it).
Unless bigs can shoot?or there was a reason they let Ed Davis go the first time and it still applies.
