Probably Lakers.Nurk for Kuzma and the 22nd pick. Who says no?
But also probably both teams.
Lakers want to keep Drummond.

Unless Drummond is signing for 3 million I can’t see that happening.Probably Lakers.

I know Drummond said he won’t sign for that amount but he may not be in for the pay day he anticipates. Especially after his performance against the suns.Unless Drummond is signing for 3 million I can’t see that happening.

Dame/Simons
Norm/Little
RoCo/Warren
Simmons/Collins
Turner/Collins
Basically your rotation is
Dame
Norm
RoCo
Simmons
Turner
with
Collins
Little
Simons
Warren
Much much much better defensive team.
I would. Ugh.Nurk for Kuzma and the 22nd pick. Who says no?

Cant stand KuzmanI would. Ugh.
Kuzma is overpaid and unaccomplished. Nurk is our starting center on a reasonable contract with no clear replacement (I like Kantner, but we know he's got issues in many matchups).
Why would Portland do this?
In a Simmons for CJ trade we'll be lucky to get away without having to throw in one of our future firsts... they're not giving us theirs.Simmons/1st for CJ
Kuzma/1st for Nurk
I don’t like Kuzma but what’s Nurk worth? If they hire MDA…
Dame/Ant
Powell/CJ2
RoCo/Nas
Kuzma
Simmons/Zach
Plus 2 1s to fill out the roster. That’s definitely a MDA roster. Honestly I don’t like it. Looks like a 6-7 seed.
Daryl Morey’s philosophy is predicated on good 3 point shooting and scoring easy buckets in the paint. McCollum is a mid range guy. I’m not sure he fits Morey’s prototypical style.
Dude takes almost 9 3’s a game and makes 40%. How many more 3’s do you have to take and make to qualify in “good 3 point shooting” category? Lol
Have a good one:

IDK, why are we giving up shooters for nonshooters?Wait I’m confused, why are the 6ers giving up 2 young All-Defense guys for a borderline guy that’s never made an All-NBA or been an all star and a guy that fell out of a team’s rotation again? My bad for getting confused, it’s been a long day.

IDK, why are we giving up shooters for nonshooters?
Thy: 30.1%
Simmons: 30.0%
for
CJ: 40.2%
DJJ: 31.6%
It brings up an intriguing question: What is more important in the modern NBA, Defense or 3 point shooting?
I think you have to have both, but 3 point shooting is likely more important.
So, maybe they should add a 1st rounder![]()
lolThybulle is gonna be entering his 3rd year. You really had to call DJJ a ‘shooter’ to try and make your case lol. The reason Simmons is expendable to them is because they still have a budding defensive specialist in Thybulle that can now just take the best perimeter player. You don’t get rid of him for a ‘shooter’ like DJJ lol. They would rather give up a 1st than Thybulle.
Simmons and Thybulle (and a 1st) could likely net you Bradley Beal. But yeah, I guess dude, other teams care to make the Blazers as beefy as possible like us LOL.
Hopefully we can make CJ for Simmons happen. If we can get that to go I would love to pull a three way trade where we trade Nurk and Nas and picks and end up with Myles Turner.
We could have a rotation of Dame, Norm, RoCo, Simmons, Turner, DJ, Ant, MLE, and Enes with the BAE.
He was a +4.3 in the playoffs this year. CJ was a -3.3…….so who was the more useful player?I dunno, regardless of what Simmons's true value is (both trade and on the court), I think it's fair to say this point that it's going to take some creativity to make him useful in the playoffs. The roster is gonna have to be molded around him.
What stat is this?He was a +4.3 in the playoffs this year. CJ was a -3.3…….so who was the more useful player?
