Trade 2021 Off-Season Trade Ideas

Here's what I've done in our Mock Off-Season

C.J. McCollum, 2022 1st, 2025 1st, 2022 2nd, 2026 2nd for Siakam and the 47th Pick (C.J. went to New York)
C.J. Elleby for Jahlil Okafor and the 42nd Pick

How am I doing so far?

If you can get Siakam with only CJ and picks, do it.

Siakam is injured, and won't be ready for the start of the season. I'd be very surprised if he was traded.

If he's available and Simmons isn't, we'd be fools to pass up the opportunity to turn CJ and future draft assets into him with his injury. So right now we can guarantee having him playing in December and after that.

Dame/Ant
Powell/Thybulle
Roco/Nas
Simmons
Collins/Harrell

We would be defensive monsters, Collins would need to step up.

Just saw this on Bleacher Report

Blazers trade CJ

Pacers trade Brogdon and TJ Warren.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...s-to-get-4-lottery-teams-back-to-the-playoffs

Written from a Pacers point of view...not the worst trade proposal I've seen. A lot depends on how Warren comes back from injury. His 2 years prior, he shot over 40% from '3' averaging over 18 ppg.
Brogdon is a bigger, more defense oriented guard who can still fill up a stat line. Would like Turner to somehow be swapped in there.

Warriors said to be interested in Simmons, Wiggins and the 7/14 picks are the main assets they would like to use. Does 7/Wiggins get it done?

Curry
Klay
Simmons
Dray
Wiseman

Seems pretty unbalanced

Why would Philly want that though? It doesn’t solve any of their problems. Simmons seems to me like a horrible fit on GS. I also don’t understand why Philly would want young guys when their window is now.

The warriors have nothing to help PHI win now.
It would have to be a 3 team trade I’d think.
A Philly writer said Wiseman / 7 / Wiggins or something like that to WASH for Beal, Beal routed to Philly and Simmons to GSW.

Who plays point guard? It’s like people don’t understand that Simmons is their point guard.

I think we're going to make another run at Draymond. He's tight with Chauncey (called him his son from their relationship in Michigan) and Dame, and the Warriors are eyeing Simmons. I feel like CJ and a first might be able to get it done in a 3 way with Philly and GS (if Draymond, CJ, and Simmons all want it, which I think each might).

Lillard/Simons
Powell/
Roco/
Draymond/Little
Nurk/Collins

looks good to me.

draymond is also a klutch client, like Chauncey. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. I know dame has wanted draymond for awhile.

Maybe they could use that pick to get another guy. I would do that deal if I was Philly. Wiggins has supposedly become better defensively, although he still just seems kind of blah.

Who becomes their primary ball handler though?

If they both pick up their options, how about a DJJ/Harrell swap? Harrell is a Klutch guy and we could use more dogs.

I know the Kings seem to love Fox (to the extent that he's the reason they didn't draft Doncic), but they also KEEP DRAFTING PGs, and now Davion Mitchell already looks like the real deal (and Haliburton already was). This is a flash-for-substance trade, and cleans the slate of bad memories for the Kings.
