I would not want Drummond the way he look against us was terrible.
He's just a better Whiteside, really. Someone who often looks great when we go up against them, and then you have them on your team and realize why the other team hated him, the stats over a long period are pretty empty overall.

I mean I like Vucevic and Ross. But then our roster doesn’t seem all too balanced.

I’m against trading Simons too. I’m in the minority probably but I think he has star potential
I'm still there with you with Simons.

The problem is he didn't look against and Allen is better center then he is. Drummond time this league has run out. More likely they will buy him out due to his contract but maybe the Nets might take gamble on him.

Teams are monitoring the progress of Anfernee Simons ahead of the trade deadline, Charania adds in the same piece. Simons has taken on an increased role with the Blazers playing behind Damian Lillard and seeing more time in the guard rotation with C.J. McCollum sitting out because of injury

The guy I would like to make a run at is Jalen Brown. Boston has some decisions to make as does PDX.

I realize it’s not realistic, like almost every 3way trade that’s ever been posted, it’s pretty much a fantasy situation.

I think this three way trade might be realistic and make all three teams better:

Even though the projected wins make it seem like the Wolves get fucked they might get the best end of the deal. The Knicks get CJ and the options that come with Zach while just giving up Randle, who has been great for them lately but not as good as CJ would be with that roster.

That's because the Wolves do get fucked. And even if you are bearish on KAT's true impact on the game, Nurk and Randle only have 2 years left while KAT has 4. They get no long term asset here just a bunch of role players for a team that is already bad.

Randle has shown that he is no role player. If needs be I'm sure the Knicks would send over another asset, maybe the Dallas pick and Payton but the cold hard truth is that the Wolves need to make changes because they have the worst record in the league and KAT needs a change of scenery and team culture. I do realize that they've played all but 7 games without KAT but still.

Randle has one season where he's been a true positive, and that's this year. You'd have to really love him to value him as a star as he's being done here. He's being traded for the best shooting center in NBA history, at age 25, with 4 years left on his deal. No one in their right mind would consider this deal.

Your hate of CJ knows no bounds. It's OK to admit you were wrong-- you're in an anonymous forum for Godsakes. No one gives a shit if you predicted something correctly or not

This is so wrong on multiple levels. First it may be an anonymous forum FOR YOU, but you are not everyone here.
Second, people hold others’ words against them for years around here. You must be in some different forum. Because there are some people here who do nothing EXCEPT look for ways to show people they were wrong in what they said.
(Just like this post. Lol)

Would you guys do this trade?

Isn't that even more reason to be able to admit when you're wrong then?

100% agree. Also one of the reasons i find it hilariously ridiculous that many here are unable to admit when wrong no matter the topic of discussion, based on my experience here.

Good news: I have a greater respect for all of you!

I've just surfed the web for trade rumors, and it's a lot of made up shit by people who are completely clueless. Much of the 'analysis' completely ignores the salary cap.

For example, one (BR-lol) has us trading RoCo to Boston for Aaron Nesmith and a 1st. I'm pretty sure Neil wouldn't do AN and 3 1sts for RoCo.

And, that was one of the more realistic trade proposals. Some of the sites didn't even say what should be given up in a trade. They also included franchise
cornerstones in trades who were not on the block, which would almost never happen. Of course, I did see plenty of ads mixed in with the 'articles', so that should have been a clue...
